Chapter 33

Vianca's POV

After we all celebrated our joy we decided to leave.

"Guys today's bill is on me. My Sister is engaged and the girl I have loved for so many years finally became my girlfriend." Said Kevin who was on the 9th cloud.

"No I am paying the bill." Says David.

"Shut up guys neither of you both are paying. I am paying. Consider it as a treat from me. I am happy today that we all are together like this after a long time. My bestie is engaged and Mom and Vanessa are here to increase my joy so please guys let me pay." I said.

"Not happening!" Kevin and David said in unison.

"Kids the bill is on me. I am the eldest person here so no one will refuse me. I am the one who is the happiest person because both my daughters found their other halves." Mom said. Yes, she considers Nelsa as her own daughter. Mom has always treated me, Vanessa and Nelsa equally.

"Relax people. Let Kevin and David share the bill. Julia Aunt I bet they both are the happiest people on the earth. See how they are jumping with joy." Chuckled Nelsa.

After a long debate on who will pay the bill we finally reached the conclusion that Kevin and David will share the bill. Mom was annoyed that we didn't let her pay.

"Come on guys let's leave now it's almost 11."

We headed towards the cars. Kevin had picked me, Mom, Vanessa and Jess so he'll drop us back I guess. Vanessa was about to sit in his car when David and Nelsa stopped her.

"Julia Aunt, Vanessa and Jess sit in my car. I and Nelsa will drop you guys. Let our new love birds spend some time alone." David said.

"No it's alright David you and Nelsa spend some time together. Kev will drop us." I said to avoid the awkward situation.

"Come on Vianca. We both live in the same house we have all the time in the world for each other. But my big brother always longs for you." Teased Nelsa.

"Kevin take all the time in the world. Even if you drop her home tomorrow morning we wont be mad at you. You have our full permission." Winked my devil of a sister.

Oh my god Vanessa has such a big mouth this stupid brat. I felt so damn embarrassed. This girl always embarrasses me. I gave her a death glare.

"Vanessa you have absolutely no manners or decency. Is this the way you speak to your elder sister? Where are your manners and what Kevin and Vianca do is their personal thing you dont need to worry about that. Behave like a kid." Scolded Mom. Thank god Mom put her in place atleast for once. I dont know who teaches this girl all this stupid stuff.

I sat in Kevin's car and the others left in David's car. Kevin put on some music but I couldn't keep my mind at bay. So many things were going on in my head.

Kevin was singing the song loudly. Closer was playing. It was our favorite song. How things suddenly changed from me and Kevin being the bestest friends until today when he proposed me all of a sudden. I still cant decipher the fact that we are dating. I knew Kevin always had a crush on me but I never thought it was this serious. I felt very bad when I used to tell him to get a girl but he has always waited for me. I didn't liked to hurt him by rejecting him but what can I do love is a big thing and without that how can a relationship work? But on the other hand, Kevin has always been there by my side, he has always supported me and protected me. Moreover we both have an awesome bond. I am always happy with him. Mom also loves him and today Mom and the others were so happy. I cant disappoint them, I cant hurt Kevin anymore so I decided to give him a chance. I'll date him. Yes, if that's what makes him and all the people I love happy, then I am ready for it.
