38. I Can Hear the Bells

It's December 7th which means that we're going to the live taping of Hairspray Live! It's nine in the morning and right now Sebastian, Noah, Dottie, Tom, Maddie, Raven, Harrison, and I are all meet up for breakfast before Maddie has to go on set for their last dress rehearsal before the show tonight.

"Can I pick out your outfit again?" Sebastian asked from the right side of my bed where he has slept in for the past week, which is totally fine with me.

"Only if I can pick your's out,"

"It's a deal," he said standing up and picking me up from behind to move me out of his way. Once he set me down he kissed my cheek and then turned back to  my clothes. While he was searching through my clothes I went into the guest room, where he was supposed to be staying, and went through his suitcase. I picked out an olive green shirt, a brown jacket, and dark wash jeans for him to wear. When I walked back into my room with the outfit in my hands I found him still rifling through my closet.

"No luck?" I asked wrapping my arms around his waist from behind and resting my head on his back.

"Just trying to find an outfit as perfect as you are," he replied and I rolled my eyes at his cheesiness as I continued to hold onto him. Ten minutes later he had finally picked out my outfit and handed it over.

"What if we showered together," I asked as I held onto the clothes and looked down at the ground. I'm not sure from where within me this suggestion came from, but as soon as it left my mouth the regret came forward almost like the second birth a woman experiences after giving birth. I was too afraid to look at him and after a while of no answer I looked up and realized he was no longer in the room with me. I sighed and walked into my ensuit and found him taking off his pajama pants.

"Ready for this shower?" He asked me with a smile and I just nodded my head. Even though it was my suggestion I was nervous to be undressed in front of him because we haven't seen the other naked within the six months that we've known each other. The most we've done is make out and cuddle. "I'm not going to judge you," he said softly as he approached me and kissed my forehead before taking the clothes from me and taking them back out to my bedroom. While he was dealing with those I started the shower and got in before he was even back in the bathroom.

"Got room for one more?" He asked pulling the shower curtain aside a bit revealing his naked body before stepping in with me.

"I think so," I replied and he laughed as he got in along with me. For a while we just stood there; me under the shower head with water running all over my body, and Sebastian across from me being hit by droplets bouncing off my body. We just stood there and took in the foreign nature of the other's naked body. I took the first step forward and was met with his open arms. We stood under the water together just hugging. There was no talking. Just embracing. I felt at peace.

"Help me wash my hair?" He asked me and I looked up at him as if he was insane.

"You do realize that you're like a foot taller than me, right?"

"I'll squat," he said looking down at me with a childlike smile.

"That will get uncomfy real fast but okay," I replied with a shrug and he smiled and instead of grabbing his shampoo he got mine and handed it to me. I raised my eyebrows at him and before I could say anything he beat me to the punch, "I do play plum loving Bucky Barnes anyways,"

"God you're such a dork," I said with a shake of my head that contained the goofiest smile I've ever made. But that's the thing about Sebastian, he made me want to goofy grin all of the time. After I helped him wash his hair he did the same for me and then we washed the others body. I got out before him because he wanted to stay in a little longer. So while he was still in I dried off my body and put on my robe before walking back out to my room and flopping onto my bed while feeling around for my phone. Once I found it I quickly created a group chat that contained Raven, Jasmine, Piper, Maddie, and Dottie. This was a new step in whatever type of relationship Sebastian and I had and it confused me.
