Chapter 15 - A Little Party Never Killed Nobody

We Can't Stop by Miley Cyrus started playing. I put my hands up in the air and started swaying my body again like the song said. Everyone yelled "Hell NO!" at the same time.

"You are my best friend now." I help my cup up against my lips and kept dancing. Something started vibrating in my bra. What was that? I checked and it was my phone. How did it get there and who was calling me?

I answered singing. "So dadadidadi We like to partiiii..." I slurred. I was even worse now. I could't almost keep my eyes open. If that even made any sense.

"Emily," Who is that? Oh wait that my name. I giggled. Someone is calling me. I might as well just sing then. "It's out party we can say what we want. Don't take nothing from nobody!" I sang.

"Oh thank god you are still alive." the voice was relieved. Who am I talking to? oh right my Lukey.

"My Lukey. I mean Luciusss...Got somebody here I might get some now. We can kiss who we want to." I chose the two lines of the song that would piss him off the most. Yes! Take that.

"Lukey?" he chuckled in the other side. I smiled. Oh I loved this men.

"Oh God I love you, my own version of Prince Charming" I blurted out. Did I say that out loud? Ups. Oh well. I kept dancing.

"Geez Emily do you think you could stay out of trouble while I get there please. Where are you?" When he asked I realized I didn't know where I was. Did I really want him to come here?... YES! Okay lets go ask someone. I got down from the table and fell flat on my face dropping my phone. Shit. Wait what was I doing? Ummm. I held my finger up to my chin thinking deeply.

"Hello," Someone next to me said handing me back something that looked like a phone. I shooed her hand away.

"You talk," I said pointing at her, "I'm dancing." I said pointing at myself.

"Um, Hello?" she answered the phone.

"Is your name Emily?" she asked me, I nodded. She got back to her conversation.

"Yes she is right here but she looks pretty bad if you ask me." She was silent for a second and then gave him direction to get somewhere.

I was dancing again. This was fun. "Here you go, he wants to talk to you." She said handing me a phone. He? Who? Why was everyone handing me phones tonight? OH right... It's my phone. Wait I had to ask someone for directions...Maybe. Or did I? Wait what? "I'm on my way! Try not to do anything stupid."

I had to think a little and then remembered who was on the phone. "Whatever Luciuusssssss." I said smiling at my phone. I must have looked like a complete idiot.

"Just stay." Was all I heard before the line went dead.

Right then Ellie came up to me. "Do you know I luuuvvvvvvv you?"She asked.

"I love you too!" I answered and then she was pulling me towards the back of the house. I don't know how long it took for us to get there but we eventually did. There were so many people here. We started dancing around the pool. Everyone was having so much fun. Clarity by Zedd started playing and everyone started cheering again and I , of course, started singing. "It was worth it every time. The clock ticks till it breaks your glass and I drown in you again." While I was moving from side to side something caught my eye. He was there. Lucius was there! My Luke. My heart jumped to my chest and I froze almost falling head first in the process.

He started walking towards me with a look of relief and then concern. I started walking towards him too, bumping into everyone within a one feet radius from me. I stopped near the edge of the pool but his arms were around me instantly. The song in the background kept going. "Cause you are the piece of me, I wish I didn't need." I sang slowly facing him.

He looked down at me pained and let me go for a second. Everything after that happened too fast. I was fading. My feet were not responding, neither where my legs or my eyes for that matter. Someone had bumped into us and I fell into the pool without having time to get any air. I tried opening my eyes but it was hopeless. I was sinking, not only in the pool but also in my head. I was loosing consciousness. I was drowning in more than just one way.
