Chapter: 37

           <♡> The Reason Why <♡>

    
         The two men wondered what they fought about. Whatever they fought about they knew Jungkook would have the last word in it. He always did... so this is no different, right? Yoongi sat next to Jimin and made Taehyung sit next to him. They both looked at each other knowing there is nothing they can help with. "Did Jungkook agree to that?" He asked him.

   Jimin gazed at Yoongi with a guilty look. "No... I don't need him to." He mumbled as he looked away thinking they will take Jungkook's side.

   Taehyung sighed "Yet he still let you do what you want." He said while he smiled.

    Jimin shrugged his shoulders "We can't agree on something together... he doesn't even consider my point of view. His only matters. I don't want to feel like I have no voice in my relationship. That's now how it works! A relationship works by two people holding hands and walking together, not someone leading it while the other is behind catching up." He stated.

   Taehyung leaned next to Yoongi's ear "They're dating!" He whispered.

   Yoongi sighed "Did you just realize that! It was obvious." He said not believing Taehyung.

  Taehyung shrugged his shoulder and looked at Jimin "Well, did you tell him that?" He asked the man.

    Jimin bit his bottom lip and slowly shook his head "Not exactly, he should already know that though-"

   Getting interrupted by Yoongi "He doesn't. He has never been taught that. That's why you should be there to teach him that. How do you expect a fish to swim on land? It needs to be in the water for it to swim. Be there for him, and guide him. Even though he will be a pain in the ass a bit." He said.

   Jimin scoffed "He already is."

    Taehyung tilted his head "How? How is he a pain in the ass-"

   Getting shoved by Yoongi "Don't answer that, go to him." He said.

   Jimin nodded feeling a bit nervous. He just stormed out of the room and didn't listen to him so he may not allow him to come in. He stepped out of their room and Yoongi quickly ran and locked the door "Why are you locking the door..." Taehyung asked feeling a bit nervous.

   Yoongi smirked "You asked how he was a pain in the ass. I'll answer your question." He pointed at the man then at the bed. Gesturing him to go on the bed. Taehyung swallowed "T-That's what he meant." He mumbled realizing what they all meant and quickly getting on the bed obeying Yoongi.

   Meanwhile, Jimin held the door knob. Wanting to twist it open but he was too nervous "Maybe tomorrow.." he quickly ran to the other room trying to open the door but it's locked. He sighed "Can't they fuck another time." He mumbled.

    He turned around and walked to Jungkook's room. Inhaling as he looked at the door and holding the door knob, exhaling while he opened it. Walking in slowly "Jungkook.." he said.

   Jungkook was on the bed drinking beer and his eyes were red. Jimin felt bad, closing the door and approaching the bed.  "Can I come in?" He asked.

  Jungkook scoffed and looked at his beer "You're already in." He stated.

   Jimin felt embarrassed about the words he said that probably hurt Jungkook. He shouldn't have said them, he was very remorseful. "I think we need to talk." He said. Sitting on the edge of the bed.

    Jungkook chugged his beer and looked at Jimin. At that moment Jimin realized that the boy must have been crying. It was weird witnessing Jungkook in that state. "You mean you want to call me a criminal and tell me why I'm a bad guy? Sure." He said.

   Jimin teared up and slowly crawled to Jungkook "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry my love." He opened his arms asking if he can hug him.

    Jungkook wasn't going to reject the hug that he needed "You're sleeping here tonight, right?" He asked before tugging on jimin's shirt and pulling him against his chest so he can hug him while holding him tightly in his arms.

    Jimin smiled and nodded while he closed his eyes and felt safe in his arms "Yes, I am. But Jungkook, we need to talk." He said.

   Jungkook cleared his throat "You're warm." He mumbled trying to avoid "talking" to Jimin.

   Jimin knew the man was trying to avoid it. It's not like he wanted to argue with him but they need to resolve it or it will take over the spark that is lit between them. "Jungkook... please." He tried leaning away from the hug but Jungkook's hand was holding him tightly and refusing to let go.

     "Let's not fight, please." He mumbled.

    Jimin nodded "We won't, we will just talk about it, okay?" He said.

   Jungkook let go of Jimin and exhaled and held jimin's hands "Can you tell me what made you upset?" He asked.

  Jimin bit his bottom lip and swallowed "Jungkook, I want to live like how other people live. I want to get married to you in the future. I want us to own a farm and live together happily, having normal jobs. Can't you consider this please?" He asked.

   Jungkook parted his lips and held his hands tighter "But Jimin... living freely, doing whatever you want. Having people fear you, you can't expect me to be detained by the laws when I spent almost all my life breaking and running away from them." He said.

"Why do you do this? Is it because of something? Do you want to take revenge on people? Tell me.." he said.

Jungkook never told Jimin the real reason, but it's time for him to do so "I want to take revenge, I have a grudge on people in general. I don't kill or kidnap but I steal. Just like they stole my mother's life." He said.

Jimin inhaled deeply, seeing Jungkook crystallize his eyes made him want to stop talking about this, but he has to. So he can resolve it. "Jungkook, holding a grudge doesn't make you happy or free, letting go and living your life sets you free." He kissed Jungkook's hand and gazed at him wanting him to understand what he was trying to say.
