Chapter 14: New Born

A Couple Days Later
Skylar's POV

Bella is looking a lot better than she was before. She looks like her old self just pregnant. As for me, its taken me a little while longer to gain my strength.

Bella and I were sitting on the couch when I felt something wet.

"Bella was that you?" I frowned and she nodded holding her stomach.

"I think my water just broke." Bella said causing everyone to stand up.

"W-what do we do?" Matt asked.

"Everyone, just stay calm." Carlisle said then turned to Edward. "Come, take her to my office for delivery."

Carlisle, Esme, Edward, Bella, Bekah, and Rose left to the office while everyone else stayed out of the way and kept and eye on me.

"Any day now baby." Emmett smiled sitting next to me and put his hand on my bump.

The Next Morning
At 4:47am

Everyone jumped when there was screaming coming from Carlisle's office.

It went on for about another half our when we heard a baby's cry from the other room. After a few more minutes everyone but Bella came out holding Edward and Bella's baby.

"Everyone, I'd like you to meet Renesmee Carlie Cullen." Edward smiled handing the baby to Emmett and I first.

"She's so precious. And she has Bella's eyes." I gushed then looked back at Edward. "Is Bella okay?"

"She's in there now. Carlisle turned her because she asked." Edward said with a sad smile.

I nodded and looked back down at my niece. She looks so much like Bella when she was a baby. Everyone nodded and then looked down as we passed Renesmee around, but we all looked at Jacob who looked like he was in a trance.

Then he looked up and gulped at Edward who was glaring at him.

"You didn't." Edward growled taking a step forward only to be held back by Carlisle, Connor, and Jasper while Seth took Renesmee from Jake and handed her to Alice.

"I-I'm sorry. But you have to understand, I have no control over it." Jake apologized, scared a bit.

"Edward, just calm down a bit." Carlisle said.

"He's right. And I mean, it isn't so bad." Kol spoke up. "It could have been Nik."

"Gee, thanks brother." Klaus glared at his little brother.

Edward sighed and nodded, still pissed off, but knew it'd be more protection for his daughter.

A Couple Days Later

It's been a couple days since Bella gave birth to Renesmee. She's been growing so much, it looks like she's a few months old versus a few days old. I can also say the same about my baby bump. Carlsile says my due date is getting close and I can deliver any time now.

Everyone was with the baby when we all looked towards Carlisle's study. Bella's heart stopped beating. After a minute the door opened and Bella looked like herself, but her posture was straight, her skin was paler, her hair was more longer and volumous, and her eyes were red.

I smiled at my sister but Jasper, Connor, Emmett, Nik, Elijah, Kol, Damon, Alaric and Stefan surrounded Renesmee, the kids, Matt, Jeremy, and I around the couch.

"Can I see her?" Bella asked.

"I think it'd be better if you hunted first." Carlisle said.

"What's the difference? The wolves have us surrounded, and there's more heartbeats in here." Bella argued.

"Which is why everyone talked last night, and some of us are leaving." Leo spoke up.

"What?" I frowned.

"Skylar, as much as we want to stay and help, the girls and I have to go back to San Francisco. The demons are back looking for the girls and we don't want to lead them here." Leo said.

I sighed and nodded.

"Same goes for me." Marcel spoke up. "I have an empire to run."

I nodded then turned to Davina. "Does that mean you're leaving too?"

"No, Kol and I are staying until we meet our little niece and nephew." Davina smiled taking Kol's hand.

"Jeremy, Bonnie, Caroline, Lizzy, Josey, and I are leaving too. I have a town to run, and they have a school to teach." Matt spoke up.

"We're leaving and taking Hope back to New Orleans to keep her safe. Even though she's apart of their pack, we don't wanna take any chances." Sam said guesturing to him, Hope, Dean, and Bobby. "We're all leaving tonight."

"Its okay, we'll see each other soon." I nodded with a smile.

"So? Am I gonna feed or what? My throat feels like its on fire." Bella said holding her throat.

"Here. They tried to get me to drink the blood again. So not happening." I said handing the styrofoam cup to Bella.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Jasper spoke up making Bella stop from reaching for the cup.

"Well would you rather her drink this or possibly go after anyone in where who isn't a vampire Jaz?" I suggested then looked to Bella. "Take it."

"You sure?" Bella asked.

"Yeah, we have more blood bags and Damon can always make me more food with the blood." I nodded.

Bella took it and finished the whole cup.

"How do you feel?" Edward asked.

"It still burns but it's berable for now. I can control myself." Bella nodded and smiled taking a step towards me and Renesmee making Jasper take a step infront of us.

"Okay, um, how about we all help everyone whose leaving with their bags." Esme spoke up trying to release the tention.

The one's who were leaving nodded and so did the rest of the Cullen's as they went upstairs to pack.
