Dread
To hate something with such great intensity to where you cannot face what you know
To know that nothing else in this world could bring you such greater pain
When you know what's coming but know you can't fight the urge to fall to the floor and scream
To erase what looms overhead from your mind,
To believe that there is something easier you can face
When death itself stares you in the face what can you do but run or even be petrified, unable to move
Unable to be released from the thoughts that bind you, you lay in a heap,
Believing that nothing can put you back together again if what faces you ahead, succeeds
It stares you down with its dead soulless eyes and starts moving towards you moving like an insane marionette
With jerky movements it proceeds to rip you apart limb by limb
But what you dot realise is that the walls you worked so hard to build up, come crashing down almost as if Rome the city that had been fortified seven times had fallen in war and all the people that had died were right beside you,
equally wallowing in the terror that enveloped ever fiber of your being
Then suddenly the creature stops right in front of you and looks at you,
its limbs going in every direction but the normal and claws that look like the teeth of a Tyrannosaurus Rex it seems as if it can't destroy you
And when it does, you know that nothing can ever will compare to the feeling of dread
It silences you with it's claws wrapped around your neck and the right amount of pressure applied for unconsciousness,
but soon bounces back with greater force it gives a twisted and distorted smile its teeth are yellowed and glinting somewhat its tongue is black and glistening
And when it twists its way around your neck you know that the end is near
Dread
A feeling you can not escape
It encompasses more and more people everyday and when one survives it, it strikes again
Dread
Ferocious, yet a part of life
