Joe was the man of the house, even in his last relationship with his Ex Wife. They were still friends even after their divorce and Joe got to see his only daughter a lot.

The phone was ringing. Patrick and Joe both look at it. It was 2:34 at night. Who would be calling? Patrick got up and pulled on his boxers and answered it. "Hello? Yes this is his husband. Oh..." Patrick placed his hand over his mouth. Joe looks confused. Patrick looks at him with tears in his eyes. "I-I... shit okay.."

"Patrick?" Joe got worried. Patrick left the room to finish his phone call. Once he came back Joe had on his boxers and shorts.

"Joe sit down.." patrick asked sitting on the edge of the bed. Joe did. Patrick took his hands into his own.

"Joe, ru- ru- Ruby and Marie are dead." Patrick stutters. Joe goes pale.

"What. No. No..." he denies it. "No, not my baby girl.." he starts tearing up. Joe leans his head onto Patrick's shoulder. They stayed like that for the rest of the night. 

- the next month-
Joe was so sad. Patrick became the man of the house as Joe grief with the loss of his friend and his own flesh and blood. He has also been trying to have unprotected sex with patrick more, he was baby hungry. He wanted to replace the loss child with another. Patrick understood the loss and the ways Joe had been trying to get over it, but he's not okay with some.

"I DON'T WANT TO HAVE A BABY RIGHT NOW JOE!" Patrick yelled. They were fighting again. Joe looked anger.

"WHY NOT!"
"BECAUSE YOU ARE STILL HURTING! YOU JUST WANT A REPLACEMENT BABY!" They fought for the rest of the night.
Life for them was going down hill. Joe wanted to hold his baby girl again. He wish he would have driver her home  to her moms instead of Marie picking her up.

Joe was tired and depressed. Patrick and him fighting was not helping at all...
