Haruhi was done with the excessive nature of the physical exam.
"Damn these rich people." She thought.
Just then, a ragged man in a white lab coat bumped into the third son of the Ootori group.
"I'm terrible sorry." The man apologized and hurried away.
"No problem," Kyoya replied. "Oya?" He noticed something strange, but turned his head back towards the ongoing examinations.
After Tamaki was pranked for calling the others the homosexual supporting cast, Haruhi and Yuna made their way to the special clinic.
"It's true!" The hosts turned at the cry of a female student. "One of the doctors grabbed my shoulder and tried to pull something funny on me! I was so very terrified!"
"How scary!" The crowd murmured. "I wonder if he was a pervert. It's early spring, so we have to watch out."
"I knew it." Kyoya tapped his chin.
"Knew what?" Honey was perplexed.
"That man I saw earlier, he was wearing a white coat. But he was clearly not one of our hospital's doctors, so I thought it was a little strange."
"Then you should have said something sooner," the twins chided.
"Well," Kyoya said, "the security guards will catch him soon enough."
"So then, did you see which way this pervert doctor went?" The guards questioned.
"Yes, he ran off toward the special boy's clinic." The girl replied.
The hosts turned to stone. "Haruhi and Yuna!" They cried.
Kyoya's POV
I don't think I've ever ran faster in my life. How could I let this happen to her. It was always my duty to protect her, and I've failed.I threw the curtains open, and saw the man hovering over Yuna, while she was still half dressed. Before I could crack the skull of this disgusting monster, Tamaki came in a sent the man flying with her teddy-bear kick. I wanted to go finish him, but a pair of porcelain arms wrapped around me from behind.
"It's ok oniisan. Calm down." I could feel my reason return. I took off my shirt to wrap around my sister's torso, and pulled her behind me protectively.
"Please, at least spare my life!" The man bowed down to us on hands an knees. Well, he deserved much worse for his deeds.
After clearing up the misunderstanding with Dr. Yabu, we sent him away to the other school and went home.
I held Yuna's hand and dragged her to my room, locking the door with a click.
"O-oniisan?" She seemed flustered by my actions, but I could not keep my cool for any longer.
Grabbing her shoulders, I stared straight into her eyes. "Why is there a huge gash across your chest? And why were you so afraid of the doctor?" She had hid her fear well, but I knew her better than anyone else. Well, at least I thought I had.
She lost all color in her face, as if drained of life.
"I'm fine. Don't worry about it"
"No, it's not fine! Something has happed in the time you were gone, and you're not telling me about it!" I was almost yelling. No, scratch that, I was full on yelling.
"Please don't ask about it. Please...I-I'm not ready yet." She started to cry, and I felt my heart break. How could I bear to make her eyes fill with such sadness?
I took her in my arms. "Oniisan is sorry. Please don't cry." Her body wracked with sobs as she cried in my arms.
I rocked her around, whispering soothing words until her sniffles quieted. She had fallen asleep.
I carried her to her bedroom, and tucked her in bed. Her eyes were red and swollen, and I felt a pang of guilt as I wiped the remaining trails of tears from her delicate cheeks. I will wait until she is ready.
Yuna's POV
I heard the sound of the door close, and slowly sat up."You know, oniisan. There's one more secret I'm hiding from you." I whispered to the air. "We're not related by blood."
