Yuna's POV
The bell tower rang twelve times. I strolled around the hallways of the school, dressed in a pastel lavender dress. Looking around, I saw a moving stuffed bunny through the open doors of Music Room 3.Running to take a closer look, I was sucked into a black hole, going on full alert as I flipped and landed on my feet.
"Where am I?" I thought.
Suddenly, a grand piano appeared, and a young boy with mouse ears and a tail emerged from inside the instrument to prop the cover up.
"Excuse me, I seemed to have lost my way." I caught his attention. "Wait!" He leapt towards a banana tree, and scurried away in a puff of pink smoke.
"How did he suddenly shrink? This completely disobeys the laws of entropy." I watched as the squeaking boy ran through a dollhouse-sized pink door. Opening the set of doors, I saw the mouse talking to the bunny I saw earlier. "Where did that boy come from? Does that mean the only exit...is that doorway?"
Out of curiosity, I ate a banana, and shrunk enough to pass through the doorway. In the darkened room, sets of lightbulbs blinked.
"Note?"
"Banana?" I glanced at the banana peel in front of me. How does anyone actually manage to step on one of these? It's not like they're invisible.
(Author-chan: Haruhi feels so attacked right now.)
"Well, I guess I play along with your little games." I placed my foot on the banana peel, and gracefully slid forward like an ice-skating champion. At the end, my vision darkened, and I found myself plunged into a body of water.
"How unexpected." I thought. "It's a pool."
"You cried so much, huh? Who knew you were such a crybaby." A peppy voice rang out.
"Hmm?" I turned around.
"All the water in this pool comes from the heartfelt tears that you have shed." I looked up to see...
"Seriously? A talking, neon-blue caterpillar on a mushroom?" I mused.
"You truly have gone through a lot of hardships and loneliness, huh?" Her words struck a nerve, but I didn't let it show.
"Be that as it may, you'd best hurry on out of there. You'll be eaten~." At the end of the sentence, three cloaked figures appeared in crocodile submarines.
Easily dodging the sharp, mechanical teeth, I stepped into land. "Intriguing."
"One side makes you bigger. One side makes you smaller." The caterpillar spoke again.
"Are the bubbles you're blowing some kind of new hallucinogen?"
"It won't be cheap," the unusually energetic caterpillar ignored my sarcastic jab. "But I'll give it to you if you call me Rika~"
"Stop always trying to get me to call you by your real name, it's not going to happen." I replied, as if by instinct.
"Always?" She stopped giggling, her bright azure hair showing through the body of the caterpillar. "This is the first time we've ever met. Why would you say that?"
"Why?" I was confused. "Why, indeed." Dazed, I caught a glimpse of a young girl running through a door.
"Go follow it. You're no fun." The caterpillar said.
Stepping through, I found myself in a room covered uniformly with banana peels. "Is there such thing as potassium overdose?"
"Welcome." Murmured a sleepy voice. "I am...the duke. These are...my cats." He seemed to fall asleep.
