"In choosing a successor, being head of the class while you're at school is an accomplishment that your brothers have achieved." The head of the Ootori corporation boomed from his desk. The two elder sons stood by his side, equally cold and emotionless.

The scene changed. "Kyoya, I'm disappointed in you. Don't appear in front of me ever again."

"No, Yuna, wait!" Kyoya called out. He tried to follow her, but she disappeared.

"You lost her." The voices around him hissed. "What will you do now, Kyoya? Kyoya? Kyoya?" It echoed.

"Kyoya. Kyoya. Wake up." A soothing whisper broke through the darkness.

His eyes fluttered open to see the one in his dreams. "Yuna." He breathed, hugging her tightly in his arms.

"What's wrong?" She stared at him with worry-filled eyes.

"Nothing. I'm just glad you're always here with me."

"That's great and all," she giggled. "But do you know where we are right now?"

He finally looked up to realize that they were no longer in the comfort of their bedroom. Chatters and laughter reverberated along the aisles covered in clothing, food, and other products. And there was a crowd of commoners as far as the eye could see.

Kyoya tried to recall what had happened. "We were at home, sleeping until just a moment ago...wait no, I wasn't." He rubbed his forehead. "Tamaki was shouting about something. As I remember, it was about going to some kind of exhibit or something..."

Flashback
"Doesn't that sound interesting, Kyoya?" Tamaki's overly cheerful talk broke through the tranquility of the morning. "Once in a while, the underprivileged commoners hold special events like this to ease the emptiness of being unable to travel." He held up a pamphlet. "By obtaining notable products form different regions, they are somewhat able to enjoy the feeling of traveling. So, I've come up with a project to understand Haruhi's feelings better as a club by going to experience some commoners' culture for ourselves. With that in mind, come on! Let's go! Now!"

Kyoya rolled over, killing intent burning in his eyes.

A pink sign appeared: "grouchy riser".

In his arms, Yuna was tucked snugly away, still deep in sleep. She stirred, and Kyoya covered her ears before languidly sitting up. "Let me tell you, I didn't go to bed until 5 in the morning. And who gave you permission to come into my bedroom, anyhow?" He growled lowly.

The club members shivered in fear at their friend's menacing aura.

"I'm getting tired of this commoner act." Kyoya continued, getting more irritated by the moment.

"Kyo..." Yuna murmured.

Kyoya paused, then turned back to the quaking group. "Formulaic morons. If you want to go, then suit yourselves." He slipped back under the covers, returning Yuna to his embrace, as if to shield her from the obsession of the club with commoner culture.

"Y-you're sure we can suit ourselves?" Tamaki quickly recovered. "Excellent! We've gotten the hypotension devil's permission! Gentleman, let's get this devil dressed up and taken to the car!" The butlers and maids rushed into the room, bringing the Ootoris to their seperate closets to change.

In the car, Kyoya briefly broke from his sleepy daze to notice that his arms were empty. Pulling Yuna close, he fell back under and the Host Club was unable to separate them. So, of course, they dragged the two along, Tamaki carrying Kyoya, and Kyoya carrying Yuna.

Eventually, Tamaki got too excited about the commoners department store, and, unknowingly, left Kyoya on a bench.

"I see." Kyoya thought, "We are currently at the Izumi shopping center. I guess I'll call a car out."

He stood up, reaching his hand into the pockets of his jeans. Suddenly he realized: he was not carrying his wallet or cell phone.

"I'm going to kill Tamaki." His eyes narrowed.

"Kyoya?" And there was the angel to quench his anger.

He ruffled her hair. "Well, at least we get some alone time."

He spoke to soon.

"Huh? Kyoya-senpai? What are you doing here?" Haruhi asked.

A stomach growled, and Yuna blushed lightly. She hadn't eaten breakfast yet, and neither had Kyoya.

He turned to his underclassman. "Haruhi, how much money do you have on you?"
