Ding-dong. The crisp chime of the doorbell disrupted the tranquility of the suburban neighborhood.

"Haruhi-chan! Please come out and play!"

Yuna held back a light chuckle at the sight of the disheveled man that opened the door. It seems that both sides were in for a surprise.

"Sorry, we're at the wrong apartment." Tamaki and the others began to turn back.

"Hey, hey, wait a second." The man grunted, shoving the boys back towards the entrance. "Don't be so traumatized just because I didn't put on my makeup. Even cross-dressers get subs first thing in the morning."

Tamaki laughed nervously. "Of course, you're so funny, Ranka-san." He cleared his throat, holding out a box of cake with the word "present" scribbled upon it. "Good day, I hope you find yourself in excellent health."

Bam. With a dramatic punch to Tamaki's face, Ranka took the box in his own hand and placed the head of the host club president between his foot and the hardwood floor. "Ah, where are my manners. Please come in. It's so wonderful to see all of you."

"Is Haru-chan here?" Honey asked.

"I'm afraid not. She got picked up by the girls this morning and I'm not sure when she'll be back."

Yuna sighed internally. This is why she hated to do things without appointments or planning beforehand. Spontaneity just led to disappointment.

"Well, I guess Haruhi is entitled to spend time with her friends from middle school once in a while." Tamaki muttered, his face red from the contact with the floor."

The twins were rude as always. "I still can't believe she has friends."

"This is why I was against a surprise visit." Yuna silently thanked Kyoya for voicing her shared thoughts.

"Come to think of it, I'm not sure I recognized any of her new friends. Well, Haruhi has always made friends easily. Just imagine it: my little girl, out and about with the students from Lobelia Academy."

"What did you say?"

"Lo-"

"-be-"

"-li-"

"-a!" The twins sung fearfully.

"Ah, now, this is an interesting development." Yuna smirked.

The host club eventually deduced that the Zika Club has taken Haruhi away for unknown reasons; although knowing the nature of their school, they feared for the worst. And by the worst, they mean the possibility of "scandalous" situations born from the overactive imaginations of doting parents and over dramatic high schoolers. So, in the flamboyant style of the host club, an elaborate rescue was planned to save Haruhi from the dangerous cutches of Lobelia Academy.

Yuna looked at the Barbie pink Zuka Club shirts and cringed. "Get me out of here."

"Wait." Kyoya called out to Ranka. "I'll get a uniform for Yuna, since she would blend in more when we infiltrate."

"Ah, yes. Yuna-chan is not recreationally cross-dressing so I'm perfectly fine with it! Plus, she would look so cute in the white skirt and.."

"Thank you." Yuna mouthed behind the rambles of the older Fujioka. The lengths she took to get out of the horrible clothing from rich schools—it was really quite a surprise.

The uniform also meant that she could stand it the shadows as the host club practiced fan chants while sorority squatting in a row. She took out her phone to snap a couple pictures for blackmail material *cough* commemoration. Kyoya, who had also no intention of joining in the rowdy group, whispered a few words in Yuna's ear before slipping away.

"Kyoya's ideas really are the best." She smiled at his retreating figure.

Countless nights did Kyoya spend regretting leaving Yuna's side to enact his scheme. The curtains parted for the drama. The princess was saved by a kiss (well, the picture of one), and Ranka was more than angry. But the shadow king's queen was not present to witness the show he put on for her to enjoy.

Yuna went missing.
