My true loves hair
Is black as the night
She entices me with her youthful charm
I desire the taste of her lips
The sweet fragrance she brings to the air
I can taste it on the wind
Her body molded from seasoned hands
She is beauty
She is art
My pulse quickens
At the sight of her
I tremble at the thought of our union
She intoxicates me
She fascinates meI long to be her lover
To feel the warmth of her
To cling to her
I want to bury myself in the throes of her love
I don't want a rudimentary, simple, love
I want passion
Romance
ExcitementI am immersed in her love
I am stunned by her grace
I want to cleave to her
Until my days are nighOh God
Why tempt me
Why present the forbidden fruit
Why do you show me what she possessesCan I not live in ignorance
Can I not live in solitude
Why must I view her
This poison
That quickens the heart
And incapacitates my mindYour word is good
But my will is weak
And I long for the love that lastsI live to fight another day
Enamored with my sin
