CHAPTER 10

THE SOUND OF THUNDER woke hawon up from her deep slumber. the small lamp on the table was the only thing lighting up the whole room under the dark and gloomy night.

hawon twisted her body; wanting to change positions but only to find herself unable to move, due to hyunjin's strong grip around her waist and his head that was resting above her head.

she could hear his soft and calm breathing. the way his chest was moving up and down when he breathes, behind her.

"hyunjin." she called softly, but only sighed when he didn't budge. she tried getting out from his grip but after a few minutes of trying, she finally got it lose enough to be able to move.

she turned around, and came face to face with hyunjin's black hoodie that he was wearing before they both fell asleep on his bed.

a soft whine was heard after hawon had turned, her whole body immediately froze up when she felt him moved; she was afraid that he might wake up from his slumber.

hawon tensed up when she felt hyunjin pull her closer to him. his strong grip was around her once again, the only difference was his left hand had moved to her upper back instead of her waist.

she tried to get it lose again but a groan made her stop. "stop moving." his voice was raspy from crying last night and the fact that he was half asleep wasn't helping either.

hawon immediately stopped moving and buried herself into his warm chest, she couldn't denied that hyunjin's body heat was enough to keep her warm under the cold autumn night.

HYUNJIN WOKE UP the next morning, surprisingly really well rested. it was one of the best sleeps he had since forever.

he groaned at the sound of thunder roaring outside and turned to face the ceiling before looking over to his right side to find hawon sleeping on his right arm.

she was breathing softly, hyunjin couldn't help but to stare at her. he wish he could say that she wasn't good looking but she was, in fact one of the prettiest girl in school.

a knock made hyunjin snaps out from his daydream and turned to glance at the door, he didn't bother to answer because hyunjin didn't want anyone coming into his room right now.

his gaze immediately moved back to the sleeping girl beside him and a small smile was displayed on his tired morning face.

the girl whines softly when another thunder roared through the room, waking her up and caused hyunjin chuckled softly; thinking that she was adorable.

"shut up." hyunjin watched as the girl opened her eyes slowly and glared at him, making him chuckle when more.

hyunjin didn't knew why he wasn't sad like the days before, he actually felt happy today and it scares him; happy things doesn't last long for him.

hyunjin brought the girl back home to get her ready for school before they both left for school together.

they sat side by side next to each other in the bus, earphones were on and music was blasting through both of their earphones.
