[NEW YEARS SPECIAL, LETS START A NEW YEAR WITH SOME ANGST HEHE.]

CHAPTER 28

GLASS AFTER glass, hawon was drowning herself in multiple different alcoholic drinks after yeeun has introduced herself to her.

hyunjin dragged hawon to leave with him. so now they were currently at a bar with his other friends, who were all no where to be seen.

hyunjin was no where to be seen as well, all he said to hawon was that he needed some air and some time alone so he left her alone at the table until hawon went to the bar.

hawon knew hyunjin was hurt and sad, the worst thing is that today was New Year's Eve and hyunjin has left her all alone.

time was running, hawon knew she had to find hyunjin soon. they've promise to be each other's new years kiss.

even if hawon was quite drunk, she wasn't drunk enough to forget about who she was and why she was here.

she stood up from the high chair with a glass in her hand and walked around, looking for her boyfriend.

occasionally bumping into people, not that people minded anyways; they were all drunk to their asses.

she finally bumped into someone she knew, "gosh have you been drinking?" jisung grabbed her arm, trying to not let her fall onto the ground.

"have you seen hyunjin?" she asked, jisung frowned and he looked like he was thinking about something.

"I think it's best if you don't look for him now, he was talking to yeeun about something when I saw him just now." hawon frowned.

"where did you last see him?" hawon asked, she glanced at the bright ridiculously large clock at the wall of the club.

"they were at the hallway that leads to the bathroom and backdoor of the club." hawon nodded before walking away.

jisung tried to pull her back but she pushed him away and continued her way to the so called hallway jisung had told her about.

there was ten seconds left and hawon was running in heels, she didn't really care if she hurt herself.

her mind was at hyunjin, who promised her that they were going to spend new years together and share a kiss.

hawon drown the cup of alcohol in her hand before looking around, she finally spot the bright hallway at the far end and run towards it.

five, they began to count down while hawon push through everyone and tried not to hurt herself.

four, her heart was racing as she got close to the hallway, she was nervous to see him.

three, the bright lights that shined the hallway, shined above her head as she walked towards the door.

two, she pushed the door that leads her outside and she steps out the bar before looking up.

one, the glass from her hand slipped as fireworks shoot up to the sky behind her, the glass shattering into millions of piece, just like her heart.

because her boyfriend was sharing his new years kiss with someone else— someone that wasn't her.
