Unrequited

FIFTEEN YEARS LATER - 2018

John and Arianna are still together, loving life and each other. They have watched their children grow up and become adults themselves. The twins, Callum and Joelle, were the last of their children to be born, as Arianna had to have a hysterectomy shortly after they were born by emergency cesarean. Besides, seven were more than enough kids!

Duran Duran is also still going strong, even as the guys are all approaching sixty. Andy left them again in 2006, but the rest continued, and John has added quite a few more award statues to his collection. They've recently finished a massive and wildly successful world tour behind their last album. And Nick and John have been working on a musical together!

Storm Fields and Taylored Fields still exist, but Arianna is no longer involved with either of them. Both brands have been turned into the corporate machines that Arianna never wanted them to be. But she's proud of what she had accomplished with them when she was at the helm. Instead of designing, she collaborates with Patty Palazzo (John's ex-assistant) on her Punk Masters tee shirts and recently guided Atlanta for her first swimsuit collection!

John wrote his memoir, which became a best-seller when released in 2012. In 2013, he became an American citizen and still holds his British citizenship. Arianna is working on getting her dual citizenship also, but the UK doesn't give it away as easily as the US.

John and Arianna are coming up on their twentieth wedding anniversary in 2019. After all of their ups, downs, trials, and tribulations, they have finally made a success of their relationship. They know exactly what they have in each other and what they would lose if they separated. They have survived all of the changes, all of the turmoil, and especially all of the separations. And they know for a fact that the love that they each have for one another is no longer unrequited by either of them. It is mutually reciprocated.
