It was time for me to go to the underworld and recruit Hades to my army. I'm sure that Reyna and Nico would agree, but I'll have to check with them first. But I'm gonna have to find them.
I found Reyna on her throne in the old Olympus Throne Room.
"Hey Rey Rey?"
"Yes Perce?"
"I'm gonna go and take over the underworld in a minute. Are you coming?"
"Sure, I'll just be a minute. I'll be getting on my armour and getting ready."
"Okie, I'll meet you at the bottom of the elevator. Sound good?"
"Yeah sure, whatever."
Then I went to find Nico.
He was at Camp Half Blood, making sure that there was no more rebellions going on. There wasn't.
He looked up as I approached.
"Oh, Hey Perce. Wassup?"
"Hey, I'm going to take over your dads territory. Coming?"
"Yeah. I'll meet you at Olympus?"
"Yup. I'll be there with Reyna."
"Okay, see you in a minute."
I flew back to Olympus, where I found Reyna waiting for me.
"Nico's on his way."
"I'm not surprised. You go everywhere with that kid."
Her voice held a faint whiff of jealousy.
"Hey," I said, stroking her hair gently, "Nico may be my best friend, but you come first. Okay?"
She nodded, then turned to face me.
"I'm just scared that you'll break up with me. If you go everywhere with him, then you might not have time for me."
I shook my head.
"I'll always have time for you, Rey Rey. I promise on the River Styx."
She sighed in happiness.
"The same to you Percy. The same to you."
Nico suddenly appeared in the shadow of the Empire State Building.
"Hey guys. We going?"
"Yeah. To L.A.!"
I flew to Laos Angeles, Reyna in my arms, while Nico shadow travelled.
We met at the gate of Orpheus, where I had gone in when I was 12. Old times.
Nico did some magic and opened the gate.
Then we all went in.
