The necklace is the thing you seek,
That's guarded by the mortals weak,
Too keep our current king in power,
You must survive the final hour,
5 Demigods must embark on this quest,
Or the rebellion will never rest. The demigod daughter of the god of war,
Will break one of the final laws,
And the pit is where you must go,
Or you'll be caught by the monster below. The son of Death alone knows the way,
And you'll find enemies in the day,
In which a leader will be killed,
And a field will run red, with blood been spilled.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I say down and contemplated the prophecy. The necklace.
What necklace that's so important is guarded by mortals?
And what does it mean by the final hour?
And a leader will be killed? Will I be the one who dies? Gods, I hope not.
I had a sudden thought. The necklace. Could it be the Necklace of Anubis? The Egyptian version of Thanatos? I heard that that was in the history museum that's in London, so it would be guarded by mortals. It made sense. So I flew to Olympus, and called for an immediate council meeting.
"Hello, fellow leaders. I have an idea regarding the prophecy."
"C'mon then Neeks, tell us!"
"Could the Necklace that's mentioned be the Necklace of Anubis? It is guarded by humans, and it's in London, which isn't too far."
Percy thought about this.
"It's a possibility. Let's call the Demigods that are going on the quest, and then we'll see about this idea of yours Nico.''
Percy threw his sword at the floor in front of him, and Poseidon shuffled out of the way.
Hestia was in front of me, as Demeter was still in the dungeons. I haven't checked in her for a while. I really should.
Just then, the members going on the quest appeared.
•Joanne Maynard, daughter of Apollo,
•Zach Soffros, as the prophecy said,
•Isabella Lewis, daughter of Nemesis,
•Jonathan Ray, son of Victoria,
•Travis Stoll, son of Hermes."My lords and lady? Why have I been summoned?"
"The prophecy is about to start. The first thing you must do is track down the Necklace of that's in London."
Isabella flicked her whip nervously.
"I'm not doubting your wisdom, Lord Persassy, but are you sure that the prophecy is coming to pass now?"
Percy glared at her.
"Yes, I am sure. Don't doubt me."
Isabella bowed.
"As you wish, Lord Persassy."
Travis spoke up.
"Where exactly in London is the Necklace?"
Percy looked at me. Honestly, I don't know what he'd do without me.
"The National History Museum. I'll take you there."
I waved my hand, and they dissipated into shadows.
Percy looked at me again.
"I have to carry on stripping the Mist off of the world. I'll see you guys later?"
I nodded, and Reyna looked interested.
"Stripping off the Mist? Why exactly?"
"I figured that we could have the mortals be cleaners. For Olympus, I mean. I figured we could keep them in check using the monsters as police."
"Perce, you did something smart for once. Well done." Reyna said.
He grinned.
"It happens every so often."
He then took off, the door slamming behind him as he left.
"Dramatic, much."
"I heard that!" Came the shout from outside.
I chuckled softly, before going to see my favorite prisoner. Demeter.
I walked down the stairs, and Demeter was still in her cell, dangling off the wall, her wrists and ankles attached to handcuffs that were stuck to the wall.
"Hello, Demeter. You ready to swear yet? Because if not, I can sort something out that hasn't been done to you before. And I have the perfect punishment."
She raised her head weakly, and said:
"Gimme all ya got."
I smirked, and raised a hand, a mix of black and green energy emitting from it.
At first, nothing happened. Then Demeter screamed as something in her back clicked.
"Constant agony 22 hours a day. The other 2 hours you can eat, sleep, drink or whatever. But mostly you'll just be dreading the pain to come back."
She screamed again, hunching forward. I just watched on in amusement as she carried on screaming, imploring me to stop the torture.
I just smiled, then summoned a small chair to sit on. Things could get interesting.
