The necklace is the thing you seek,
That's guarded by the mortals weak,
Too keep our current king in power,
You must survive the final hour,
5 Demigods must embark on this quest,
Or the rebellion will never rest.

The demigod daughter of the god of war,
Will break one of the final laws,
And the pit is where you must go,
Or you'll be caught by the monster below.

The son of Death alone knows the way,
And you'll find enemies in the day,
In which a leader will be killed,
And a field will run red, with blood been spilled.

Joanne and I charged at Luke, swords drawn. As we got near he ducked under our blades, twisted round, and drew his own sword.

"Guys, you know that you can't beat me. Walk out the door with the necklace, and no one gets hurt.

I locked eyes with Joanne, and we came to a silent agreement: we would kill this bastard. Get him out of Percy's hair once and for all.

I sliced down at his head, and he raised his sword to block, while Joanne, just a split second later, stabbed at his chest. He jumped to the side, giving himself more room, and he sliced down towards our feet.

We jumped over the blade he had swept towards us, and I lunged, my blade cutting into his shoulder.

He laughed.

"A true hit."

My response to this was to stab at his leg, to which he swept my blade away, before suddenly running behind me, and pushing me over.

I fell to the floor, only just managing to roll in time. When I got up, I saw that Joanne had swept her sword into his, before disarming him and pointing her moon blade to get throat.

"Leave Percy alone. Leave Zach alone. Stay out of my life!"

The last bit was a scream, echoing throughout the hut.

"Make me."

That was a mistake. Joanne plunged the sword into Luke's throat, just in time for the other quest members to walk in the door.

"What in the name of Percy went on here?" Isabella asked.

Percy's POV
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I called Nico in to make a shadow message thing, because I wanted to check in with the quest, see how they were doing and all that stuff. Nico walked into the room.

"Hey Perce. You called?"

"Yeah, hi Neeks. Can you make a shadow message thing? I want to check in on the quest."

"Sure Percy. Now?"

"Yes please."

He concentrated, and then threw one of those coins into the shadows.

"Joanne Maynard, Tartarus." Nico said to the shadows.

The shadows joined together just in time for me to watch Joanne plunge her blade into Luke's throat. Nico looked at me incredulously.

"Oh my gods, Percy..."

I smiled.

"This is fantastic news! Luke is dead!"

"But won't he just regenerate in Tartarus?"

I pouted.

"You know how to take the fun out of every situation."

"Thanks. I hadn't noticed."

I put Riptide into the ground, concentrated, and flashed me, Nico and Reyna to the throne room.

"Right guys, I just had an idea. Y'know the old council? I think we should make one of those, but with Demigods. Obviously, we'll make them gods, but... All in favor?"

"Wil this be two Demigods per old god? Like, for example, a roma n and greek demigod for each old god?"

I nodded in answer for Reyna's question.

"Then I agree."

"So do I."

"We have a majority!" I announced.

"Reyna, you can pick the roman demigods, Nico you pick the greeks, and I'll see if I accept them or not."

They nodded.

"Go on then!"
