It was a shame, really. I actually wanted to take over the underworld. I mean, I could charmspeak Percy into handing the realm over, but I swore on the River Styx, so.... Yeah.
Nico thinks that it isn't fair either. If we are his 2 strongest allies, then we should take over the sky, sea and underworld like Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto did. And Percy take the other realm that's left over. But oh well.
So when Thanatos came in and said hello, it was quite a shock.
"Hello, Thanatos. I'm assuming that you're taking over the underworld?"
"Why, yes, I am. I've never liked Hades / Pluto anyway. So y'know."
Pluto, who was still collapsed on the floor, whimpered from his corner.
"Oh, shut up." I told him.
He shut up immediately. Huh. I didn't even realize that I was using charmspeak.
I smirked, then turned to Thanatos.
"You charmspeaked the previous Lord of the Dead?" Thanatos asked.
"Yeah. So?" I replied.
"That must've taken some energy. Right?"
"No. I wasn't even aware that I was charmspeaking."
He looked at me weirdly.
"I'm resistant to charmspeaking. I have very strong barriers. Try and charmspeak me."
I grinned.
"Gladly."
I added a little bit of power to my words.
"Slam your head against the wall."
He didn't react to the charmspeak.
"That can't be full power. Can it?"
I shook my head, and added a little more power to my words.
"Slam your head against the wall."
He took a step towards the wall, then stopped.
"Use full power. We have to know your limits."
I nodded. I added as much power as I possibly could to my words, and said a different phrase.
"Kiss Hades on the cheek."
His eyes widened in alarm, but apparently I was too strong for him.
He went over to the corner, and kissed Hades on the cheek.
He looked at me in shock.
"Unbelievable."
"Is there anyone who might have stronger barriers than you?"
He considered the question.
"Maybe Lord Percy or Lord Nico. No one else though."
"Who's most likely to be stronger?"
"Lord Percy."
I looked at them both.
"I'll do it." Nico said.
"Great!"
I added a lot of charmspeak into my words.
"Hug Percy."
He didn't move an inch.
I added more power.
"Hug Percy."
He hesitated, before hugging Percy.
I grinned, then turned to Percy.
"Oh no. Not happening."
I gave him my puppy dog eyes.
"That won't work on me Reyna."
I widened my eyes even further.
"Okay fine." He relented, "But no affection is to be shown, unless it's to you, or to myself."
"That's fine. I know what I'm doing anyway."
I put all my power into my words.
"Stay rock still."
I didn't just direct my power to Percy, but to Nico and Thanatos as well. Pluto couldn't move anyway, so...
They all froze on the spot.
"Hands by your sides, and then get on the floor."
They got into the floor, still very still, and still with their hands by their sides.
It looked like they'd been hit with the Petrificus Totalus curse from Harry Potter.
I looked at Nico.
"Get up, and do the chucked dance."
I looked at Thanatos.
"Get up, and do the Gangnham style dance."
I looked at Percy, who looked frightened.
"And as for you, young man, you are going to see your mother."

I'd completely forgotten about Sally till I read another fan fiction. Oops.
