I had been bustin' my ass day and night tryna figure out what da' fuck happened to Jai'yanna and I wasn't gettin' no where. It had been 2 months already and I was fucked up about it. Da' police had found ha' car with everything in it, so it wasn't no robbery, but dem bitches still ain't have no leads.

I walked downstairs wit' my robe open and a bottle of hennessy in my hands.

"Goodmorning August."

I looked at her and rolled my eyes.

"Sup' Miracle."

Everything about dis' bitch aggravated me. She wasn't Jai'yanna and she will never be Jai'yanna and I knew dat.. I just needed somethin' to fill dat void while she not here.

My doorbell rang and in walked Jayla.

"You know, one day you gone walk up in here and see sumthin' you don't wanna see." I told her as I sipped the Hennessy out the bottle.

She jerked it out my hand. "Well you lucky it's me and not Ms.Sheila or my dad. What the fuck are you doing? You're gonna give yourself alcohol poisoning trying to forget Jai'yanna."

I put my head in my hands and sighed.

"I miss her so damn much." I said.

"I miss her too but we can't give up okay, y'all still have to have your wedding and adopt some kids." She said as she rubbed my back.

"Uh hello? y'all really gone keep talking about that bitch like i'm not in the room?"

Before I could say something Jayla beat me to it.

"Let me tell you something bitch, you will NEVER be my sister, so you can stop trying. You ain't nothing but a quick fuck." She was fixing to walk off but she stopped and turned around to look at Miracle again.

"And if you ever call her out her name again, I'll break every bone in your damn body."

Jayla gave her an evil little stare that even gave me chills and she wasn't even talkin' ta a nigga.

Jamir walked in while she was staring at Miracle.

"We good here?" He asked after peeping the vibe.

"We good Miracle whip?"

"Yeah, Yeah. We good." She said.

Jayla smiled and hugged me before walking out the door.

I looked at Jamir.. "Did you hear anything yet man?"

He shook his head no. "But we gone find her okay.. but in the meantime, get rid of that hoe.. I don't trust her. plus if my sister come home to this, you ain't gone have time to kiss and makeup nigga, cause she shootin' everybody up. I feel it."

We both laughed and he dapped me up before leaving.

They were right. I needed ta' get my shit togetha' because with me just sittin' on my ass wasn't shit gone change.

"You not gone eat?" I looked at Virginia and rolled my eyes.

"That's not nice boo." She said as she ate her salad.

I shook my head. She had gotten Miracle to kidnap me and they put me on a plane and I ended up in Los Angeles. I've been here for 2 months now.. tomorrow makes 3.  I was miserable here and I wanted nothing more but for it to be over. I wanted August or Luke or Keem or Jamir to come find me. I wanted my family. I wanted to live.
