Jai'yanna
I was finally back to Atlanta and I couldn't be more thankful. Due to Miracle knowing where we lived and everything else we decided it was best that we moved so while I stayed in the hospital for 3 weeks due to having malnutrition and being weak, August and the others got everything situated for my return.
We had the option of keeping Amira in the hospital with me or letting her go. I let them take her home. Instead of getting on a plane, my dad drove back to Atlanta so he could bring Amira with him. He's been a lot of help.
We got to our new house and I was in awe.
"How did y'all get this place set up in 3 weeks?" I asked August.
"A lot of team work baby." He said as he kissed me. Now, go get in da' tub and take a hot bath, ima go get ya clothes and have them laid out for you. Den, ima go start dinna' so you ca' eat and take ya medicine. Morgan said she'll be here soon with Amira so make it snappy."
August smacked my butt and I rolled my eyes before slowly making my way upstairs. This c-section scar was killing me and I didn't know what to do to fix it. I got in the bathroom and turned the hot water on then the cold. I got into the tub and my ass was burning but I made it work. I slumped down into the tub and thought about everything that happened happened. My mind was still trying to wrap around the fact that I'm a mother now.
Everything that happened before then didn't even matter to me anymore. The only thing that was on my mind was behind a great parent to Amira.
Soon August came in and put my clothes on the counter.
"You okay?" He asked.
"Yes, this scar is just hurting."
August nodded his head before dropping everything and coming to bathe me.
"August I didn't need any help."
"So? I'm ya' man and I wanted ta' help you."
I rolled my eyes and watched as August walked away to go answer his ringing phone.
When he walked back in his face expression was unreadable but I could tell something was wrong.
"August." He didn't answer me. He just kept getting my bath things together as I watched him from the tub.
"AUGUST!"
He slowly turned his head to look at me.
"What?"
"What's going on? & don't lie to me because I see it all in your face."
He looked as if he was thinking about his next choice of words. He cleared his throat before he opened his mouth.
"We just got a lit problem, dassit."
I raised my eyebrow. "What little problem?"
He sighed and rubbed his face.
"Miracle bought her way out of jail through some crooked cops."
I sighed. "Can you leave me in here alone please?"
August looked at me before nodding slowly and he walked away, closing the door behind him.
I wasn't mad at August. I was honestly tired of being mad at everybody. I had so much anger up inside of me that it was pointless of being angry anymore.
I thought about everything I have ever endured. If it wasn't for August and Amira I would have been ended it all.
I thought about Miracle. Everything she's done, everything she's said, everything she thought she would get away with was going to hit her like a ton of bricks. She put my life in danger. She put my daughters life in danger. She played with my family and thought everything was funny.. but little did she know, I was fixing to show her exactly what funny was.
