Pt 6.

Jai'yanna

I sat in the car with August and Keem as they watched the house Duke was supposed to be in. Instead of moving and doing the kill yesterday when I shot Ny in her stomach, we decided to wait til the next day, that way whether or not Duke cared, he knew we were coming for him.

"Aight, let's get this over wit yall. You ready?" August asked me.

I looked at him and nodded before tying my hair up.

He flashed his lights twice to let everybody know it was time to get out and go with our moves.

We got out the car and August grabbed my hand.

"Keep dis on you." He said as he handed me a gun. "If we get split up and you feel threatened in any way, shoot."

I nodded at him and grabbed the gun.

"August.." He looked at me and I stared in his eyes. I kissed him and then pulled back. "Thank you."

He kissed me again on the lips and then all over my face making me laugh.

I stared at him as he grabbed my hand and we walked together. I was really thankful for him and I was glad that I gave him a chance because when I'm with him I always feel like the happiest girl in the world.  I also felt safe.

We walked towards the house meeting up with the rest of August's workers.

"Y'all already know how dis shit go, we get in, we get out." Keem said as he put out his blunt. "Let's go."

August knocked on the door and then moved out of the way .. while the door swung open, Keem shot whoever opened it and we walked in.

Soon after , all you heard was gunshots and there was a full shoot out. I was glad they all had silencers because the cops would have been here quick.

After everyone in the main room and surrounding areas were killed, I started checking rooms. The first couple rooms were empty, but the third room held the person I didn't ever want to see again after tonight.

I slammed the door to get his attention.

"Well, well, well .. so that's your lil boyfriend causing all the drama behind you huh?" He said as he puffed off his blunt and turned around to face me.

I laughed at him. "My lil boyfriend will beat your ass." I said as I walked closer.

"You really thought I was gone let you get away with what you did? You broke me in every fucking way possible and I will never forgive you for that. You took away my opportunity to be a mother... I WILL NEVER ... FORGIVE YOU FOR THAT." I said as I cried a little and shook my head at him.

"You know.. you always have been a crybaby.. you need to be more like Nyja." Once he said that , I got instantly pissed.

"Fuck you and Nyja because at the end of the day, that bitch could never be me. You know what ? Your ass not even worth all this."

I turned my back towards him so I could walk out and heard his gun click so I quickly turned back around on my heel and shot him in the head twice.

Once I opened the door August was standing there.

"You good?"

I wiped my face. "I'm fine. Are you?"

"Yeaaaaa-" His eyes trailed from in front of me to behind me.

I turned around to see Nyja aiming a gun at us so I pulled out mine. We had a staring contest before I opened my mouth to say something.

"Go with your move Ny."

She was snot nose crying. "You killed my baby's father."

"Shit I tried to kill your baby." I shrugged my shoulders. "besides , I don't think he was going to be much of a dad anyways."

She wiped her face. "Since you killed HIM , I have no other choice but to kill August."

I squinted my eyes at him. "Shoot him." I tempted her. August looked at me like I was crazy yet she still didn't pull the trigger.

"Shoot .... him." I moved out of the way.

I don't think she realized that she didn't have a clip in her gun. I gave August my gun and walked up to her.

"I'm not even gone kill you .. because unlike you , i'm loyal to my family and your child will need you , but if you EVER open your mouth about ANY of this I will end you and we both know I will."

She looked at me with fear and gave me the gun that had no clip in it and I walked to the door opening it and I motioned for her to get out.

"You've changed.." she said.

"If me changing is no longer letting people hurt me anymore, i'm fine with it." I shrugged. "Now step ma."

Once she walked out and got into her car she hesitated before pulling off, but once she did I turned around and faced August.

"I can finally be happy now August.. no more problems, its over."

August pulled me into a hug and as I looked up into his eyes, a sharp pain went through my back and I gasped.

"August.." I said a little above a whisper.

Everything began to move in slow motion and I fell right into August's arms.

Damn.. Just when I thought it was over.

I caught Jai as she fell forward in my arms as she took a big gasp.

I looked up and seen Nyja's car speed away. I shook my head. I guess dat was her way of gettin' Jai back for shooting ha' in ha' stomach and killin' Duke.

"KEEEM!!!!"

When Keem got to me he helped me pick her up and get her to the car.

"FUCK!!!!! HELP ME HOLD PRESSURE KEEM!!" I was loosin' my fuckin' mind right na' and I didn't know how to handle what I was doin'. I'm not a damn doctor i'm a street pharmacist, big ass difference.

"How the hell i'm gone help you hold pressure when I have to drive! HOLD HA FUCKIN' BACK!" Keem yelled back.

Keem sped to the hospital and it was clear dat his nerves was just as bad as mine.

We finally made it to the hospital and I looked down at Jai who was breathing slowly but steady. I stared down at her and wasn't broken out of my trance until the nurses ripped her from my hands.

I cried and looked down at my blood stained hands.

"Save her for me.. please."
