Chapter 5

Ashton's POV-

I see Luke getting ready to hug Katie. I couldn't take it anymore. I was wondering what they were talking about. I stood off my chair & walked toward the door to exit Cold Stone.

"What's happening here?" I said madly.

"Nothing Ashton hop off." Luke said, he seemed protective.

"No, not until I know with the actual hell is happening."

"He was just telling me about his past Ashton, what's wrong with you?" Katie said.

She walked back in the ice cream shop. Luke & I just stared at each other.

"Luke, do you fucking like the girl or not?" I asked, I was seriously pissed.

"No mate, chill. I'm just a friend to her anyways." Luke said defensively.

"You better not fucking take her away from me."

"I won't. You have her anyways. She's probably fallen for you." Luke said very calmly.

"That's good because I want her to myself, you know I get jealous easily Luke."

"I know. But she's the one who wanted to talk to me. Remember?" He said.

Oh yeah.. She did.

"Who cares, you could've said no."

"What the fuck is wrong with you mate? Do you not trust me? Like what the fuck. You have problems you need to sort out. I'm done fighting with you." Luke walked back in Cold Stone. He sat in between Katie & Michael. They were all talking like a group of teens that we are. I stood outside thinking.

Wow Katie is getting to me.. She's getting to me big time. I just want her mine. I want to be the only one to hold her, kiss her, cuddle with her, hug her & just plain be with her. I want her... Soon enough I'm going to need her. Fuck, I really need some private time with her so I can tell her my feelings.

I checked the time & it's 2 hours & a half till the show. I walk back in, trying to look calm.

"It's almost time for the show guys I think we should head back." I said, with a fake smile on my face.

"Oh, that's right! The show I almost forgot!" Michael said. He had his hand around Amber's shoulder, they looked perfectly happy right know. Amber seemed so comfortable with him next to her.

"Let's go head back!" Calum said.

We all headed to the car. I jumped in & sat in the back next to the two girl best friends. Luckily Amber was next to me or it would've been awkward with Katie after what happened. Luke & Calum were in the second row in front of us. Michael was driving. He had no partner so I decided to move from the back to the very front. I needed it. I looked out the window & got lost in my own thoughts.

Katie.. She's really is getting to me. What if she's part of my future? Oh shit... I didn't get the flowers yet. Fuck. I'll go right after we drop them off at the arena. I need to make this perfect. For me & for her. If I want her to be mine & only mine I have to show I'm dedicated. I'll get her flowers & take her to that special place only I go to when I'm drenched in my thoughts. Yes, perfect.

I smiled an idiot smile knowing Katie will love this.

Katie's POV-

"Amber." I whispered.

"Yeah?" She whispered back.

"What's up with you & Michael. I feel chemistry going on even though I suck at that class." I said, earning a giggle from Amber.
