SOPHIA IZABELLE
I stood up at sinimulang sundan si Nate.
I tried looking him everywhere but he was nowhere nowhere to be found. So I decided to just go back to our classroom, wondering about his whereabouts.
Until dismissal came...
Pumunta ako saglit sa dorm upang ilapag ang bag ko and change my outfit to a faded skinny jeans and a pink statement shirt that says, "Be still." paired with a white sneakers.
Napag-isipan kong pumunta sa National Book Store to buy some school supplies and uhm-- books. Yas, love it!
After looking for the things and books I want, dumiretso na ako sa counter. I am the next person in the counter to pay my products when someone poked my shoulder. I am busy with my "facebook thing" so I didn't mind it. There was a poke again so iniwas ko na ang aking balikat. Ngunit 'di nagpatinag ang sino mang asungot na ito and poked my shoulder again.
"Ano ba? Ano bang problema mo?"
I faced the guy, and praise God in heaven for creating such a beautiful creature.
"Ipapa-include ko lang sana itong book na binili ko since there was many who already lined up first and I saw my classmate who already lined up first. So, is it okay?"
I only nodded him as a reply dahil ba speechless ako sa kanya.
"I'm sorry for the disturbance Sophie but I'm really in a hurry, that's why kinapalan ko na ang mukha kong mag approach sa'yo. So, yeah... please."
"It's fine, Louis. Give me that book and your money."
Ikaw pa? Malakas ka sa'kin eh.
Louis handed me the book and his money
He then thanked me after ko na pa-counter yung book nya and we parted ways.
Gustuhin ko mang mag taxi pauwi ngunit mas pinili kong maglakad na lamang dahil gusto kong tumalon talon ng slight because uhm-- okay, kinikilig ako.
Err--
Napahinto ako sa paglalakad nang...
I saw my Dad with his new family in the park na medyo malayo sa kinaroroonan ko.
It was Nate.
And he's with someone.
Someone I don't know.
And someone who's much more beautiful than me.
Now, I know.
He was holding an umbrella para protektahan iyong babae sa pagkabasa ng tubig ulan.
And his other hand wiping the wet part of the girl's face. After that, I saw him chuckled then kissed the tip of her head.
I don't know why but there was a part of my chest that was suddenly ripped.
After doing that, his gaze found mine.
"Next time, when you go out, please, bring an umbrella. I'm not always there to accompany you."
He said while holding an umbrella as shield from the cold rain.
"Here, wear this."
And it was... Louis.
Today, the weather was gloomy.
So does, my heart.
Today, Nate was late.
Louis came first.
A gloomy and late day.
Above all... this day was never an okay day for me.
Instead of, thank God, it's Friday.
It became...
A gloomy Friday.
