The Daughter of Fire and Ice

Chapter 4

I wake up and head to my wardrobe to get dressed, Mal and Evie are no where to be seen. A note sits on the desk.

Dear Evie, Jay and Carlos (and Ellie I guess... whatever),

I've gone back to the isle, life here in Auradon isn't right for me and I've no longer got anything to hold onto. Jay has tourney and fencing, Carlos has dude and Jane (once he asks her out obviously), Evie has her designing and Doug and Ellie, Ellie has Ben.

I never said anything, but I fell in love with Ben and it hurt, it hurt every time I saw them together. It made me hate her more. Ellie is smart, talented, quick thinking, beautiful, of course Ben was only ever going to see her.

I held on to the possibility that I had a chance, one day we would be together. But we all know that's not the case, they're the golden couple, untouchable. Ugh they make me sick.

I will miss all of you very dearly,

I quickly race to the closet and pick out tight black leather pants, a dark blue shirt, knee high dark blue high heel boots and my old black leather jacket with my symbol, ice battling flames. I grab the note and run to Ben's office, my heels clicking against the marble floors.

"Ben, Ben," I shout when I make it to his office.

"Yes Ellie?" He asks concerned.

"Mal's gone back to the isle." I explain waving the letter.

He nods and sends a message to Carlos, Jay and Evie. I run back to my room and start organizing I grab a small backpack.

"The bag right now is small, make the bag now fit all," I chant.

Inside the bag is now huge. Perfect I think.

I pick out an outfit for my plan. A red leather jacket, black leather pants, red high heels and a black crop top, and quickly pack it in the back pack and go back to Ben's office.

Ben, Jay, Carlos and Evie are talking about a plan to go rescue Mal and I set mine in action.

"I'm not going," I state with my arms crossed.

Everyone looks at me and Ben yells. "WHAT? WHY WOULDN'T YOU? SHE'S YOUR FRIEND!"

"No, no she's not," I state, raising my voice slightly.

"WELL WE ARE GOING SO GO, DON'T GO, WHATEVER." He yells.

"I won't go," I say.

"YOU KNOW WHAT I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU DO!" He yells.

"Oh really?" I say loudly.

He looks at me furiously, "YEAH."

I point to him "You... Me... OVER." And walk out the door slamming it behind me. Part one complete. Now to find Jane.

I find Jane's dorm and start to cry, I knock on the door.

"Open," she yells.

I open the door, tears dancing down my face.

"Are you okay?" She rushes over and hugs me.

"No..." I pause tears choking a bit, "I broke up with Ben."

She pulls me close.

"We got in a fight and he said he didn't care what I did, so I broke up with him."

"Awww honey don't worry, it'll get better," she says soothingly.

"I'm gonna go out of the kingdom for a bit, clear my head, can you tell your mum?" I ask.

She nods.

"Bye Jane, thanks for everything," I say as I walk out the door.

"Anytime, bye Ellie," she shouts behind me.

I wipe the tears away and smirk, Part two complete.
