Latices POV
I burst through the front door to see my mum lying on the floor. No. She can't be. I run up to her with streams of tears already rolling down my face.
''MUM WAKE UP PLEASE!!'' I yell vigorously shaking her. Her eyes flutter open. I sigh in relief.
''L-Latice I'm I'm so sorry I should've been watching her it was my fault I'm sorry'' tears roll down her face as-well
''Mum it's not your fault honestly'' for I while I just sit there holding her in my arms with dear life.
Michaels POV
I can't believe this. I cant take this , i see Latices and her mom on the floor and felt my anger rising. I burst out through the front door with tears swelling in my eyes and my hands balled up into a fist.
I hear someone come behind me.
''baby are you okai?'' i hear Latices soft voice
''NO IM NOT THIS FUCKING SICK MAN HAS RAPED YOU ,BEAT ME UP , SHOT THE BOTH OF US, AND NOW HAS BEEN INTO YO MAMAS HOUSE AND TAKEN OUR CHILD! HE MUST BE BEGGING TO BE KILLED'' i feel tears swell up in my eyes. I try to hold them back but i cant.
''i know i know baby but trust me we will get her back i promise you , i will do whatever it takes'' she pulls me into embrace.
We head back inside and join Latices mom bu the table. She is shaking. Latice grabs her hand and tries to comfort her.
''we...we...we need to call the police they will know what to do'' Latices mom says
''We cant , we dont know what he is capable of so if we bring in the cops that might urge him to do something worse''
''SO WHAT ARE WE MEANT TO DO!I LOST MY GRANCHILD AND IM SUPPOSED TO SIT HERE AND DO NOTHING! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO SIT HERE AND WAIT FOR HIM TO CALL!''
And like if its on cue the phone rings,
we all exchange glances and then Latice prances at the phone.
Latices POV
''hello...'' i say with my voice shaking
''miss me baby?'' i hear a disgusting cruel voice reply
''WHERE IS MY BABY?!'' i yell with tears rising in my eyes
''dont raise your voice at me baby, now i have your beautiful baby girl here.... say hi Destiny..... mommy ! mommy !'' i hear her sweet voice call
''i swear to fucking God if you kay one hand on her i promise you i will kill you'' tears swell up in my eyes
''now you know you wont do that but you know what you will do ?'' he says
''what''
''if you want your daughter back you just have to be with me'' he chuckles
''what the fuck do you mean by that''i feel the nerves rising inside me
''well all you gotta do is leave your mums house not talking to no one and meet me at the address i sent you , then me you and Destiny can be together.....forever ''
I end the call with tears streaming down my face.
''Baby what did he say I swear'' Michael asked trying to comfort me
Before I could answer I get a message on my phone from an unknown number. It was an address. I knew exactly what I had to do. I wiped the tears off my face and walk up to my mum. I kiss her on the forehead not saying a word. The room is filled with confusion.
Then I walk up to Michael and kiss him on his lips for the last time.
''Goodbye Michael I will always love you '' and before he could say anything I grab the car keys off the side and run to the car. The next thing you know ......
I'm gone.
