"Yeah, that's what I'm talking about!" Rantaro said, giving Ferox a pointed look. "Ever since he got a pep talk from you, he's been unstoppable!" Ferox grinned uncertainly, while Free did not even bother to glance at Rantaro, who waved his hand in front of his face. "Dude, at least tell me you're watching or something. You look like you've been hypnotized."

"What's the point of getting excited? It's not done," Free sighed, blinking sleepily.

Rantaro stared at Free, and he said, "What do you mean?"

Ferox slowly nodded and said, "Figures. You can see it, too."

It was strange having a teammate again that was on her wavelength. Shu had been an excellent teammate in the Beigoma Academy Beyclub; he had been the only blader on the team that was the same age as her (apart from Daigo), and she had been quite close to him.

Like Shu, Ferox had been scouted for the Raging Bulls, yet she had opted to join Valt at BC Sol. Ferox had been disappointed when Shu had not received an invitation for BC Sol, too, but he had told her and Valt that he would see them again.

Ferox believed him.

And, of course, there was Lui, who was incredibly talented yet arrogant. He was quick to detect weaknesses and just as quick to exploit them. For a long time, Lui had been a better blader than Ferox because he was more confident in his blading skill.

"How do you two understand each other?!" Rantaro suddenly said, looking between Free and Ferox--and tearing Ferox out of her thoughts.

Ferox grimaced, thinking that was situationally ironic.

"Looking a little smug, kid. But you've run out of luck. That kind of attitude riles me up and makes me want to crush you even more!" Silas snapped.

"Not sure if I'm following you," Valt said, unsure what Silas was going on about.

"I'm going to pull the stops. Bring out my A-game," Silas said, rolling his eyes. For Free's flipping banana hair, you had to say something to Valt flat-out for him to understand it, and even then, there was a 98% probability that he would still not understand.

"Earth to Silas. In case you haven't noticed, you've been doing that all along," Valt said, feeling confused.

Silas then switched to his left-handed launching style. He swung his arm slowly to warm up and add some drama for the audience.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Rantaro said, staring at Silas.

Now that Silas was giving his all, Valt would probably lose. Valt was not ready for Silas when he had not mastered his evolution. Silas was an outstanding blader with typically controlled, precise launches, so Valt was fighting an uphill battle.

Ferox bit her lip.

"Dude, you can launch with your left hand, too?" Valt said.

"Yeah, you sound surprised," Silas chuckled. "I'm what you call well-rounded." He spoke the word devilishly as if Valt did not match up to his "well-roundness."

"Mama mia! Silas knows how to keep his opponents on their toes!" the commenter yelled. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I did not see this coming! Second battle."

Valt suddenly grinned.

Silas frowned and said, "Hey, what's so funny?"

"You're secretly left-handed, aren't you? That's awesome. Now, I have a chance to see what you can do at full power!" Valt said with growing excitement.
