Faramir was taking Me, Frodo, Sam, and Smeagol with him and his men to the besieged City of Osgiliath, a ruined City on the banks of the river Anduin between Gondor and Mordor. There was some battle ensues in Osgiliath with Orks and Men.
Me, Frodo, Sam and Smeagol had our hands bound again, and we were being taken with Faramir into the City. we were being pushed sometimes by the Men behind us. Faramir was however, besides us.
“The ring will not save Gondor.” stated Frodo. “It only has the power to destroy…..please, let me go.” Frodo began with tears in his eyes.
Faramir didn’t give a command to the men behind us to let us go or unbind us. but the Men behind us started to push us and we started to get farther away from Faramir as he was left behind. “Please! you must let me go!” cried Frodo. But Faramir didn’t listen to us.
We finally made it to the City and Faramir seemed to be talking to another captain. I glanced over at Frodo, and he was looking a little pailer. Something was wrong. He even looked as if he was starting to get dizzier and dizzier. “Frodo?” I called out, hoping he was alright. But deep down, I knew he wasn't.
When my eyes met with Frodo’s, his eyes looked as if they were going to meet to his forehead again Yikes....
“They’re here…..they’ve come.” Frodo’s voice sounded like a ghostly whisper. He was as pale as death.
Suddenly there is a loud screeching noise. it was a Black Rider! Riding on a dragon again! Faramir needs to let Frodo and the rest of us go!
Before faramir left however, he untied our bounds...except for Smeagol's. “Stay here.” He told us firmly before running off to help the others. We were left alone. only Me, Frodo, Sam, and Smeagol.
We could hear the sounds of clashing swords and battle cries. If i feared anything at the moment being….it was the Black Rider. I did not want the Black Rider to find Frodo.
“F-Frodo?” I called out a little hesitantly. He seemed unwell. I placed a hand onto his ice cold ones, but he still doesn't react to my presence.
“Frodo?” I called out his name once more. He thankfully seems to snap out of whatever state he was in, he glanced over to me and down to my hand. his hand was so freezing….
“Sally?”
“Frodo, you ok?” I asked softly. “Y-Yes.” Answers Frodo, despite sounding a bit uncertain himself. I removed my hand from his. His hands shouldn’t be so cold. Could it be the Black Rider being close by? Could this be the cause of Frodo's physical state? Or maybe it was the burden of the ring?
I didn’t know. But I stepped away, to give Frodo plenty of space. Sam was watching, but when he knew nothing more would happen, he turned his gaze away and looked towards the battle. We were going to stay here, to stay safe...and hide from the Black Rider….but were we really safe?
