A/N: remember when I said id pair Nate up with somebody? Well it starts In this chapter and I'm going to warn you ahead he isn't interested in a girl... So please no hate comments! Thank you! And trust me, it's gonna be cute and fluffy. :3

By the way Nate's romance is just a side thing, the main couple is still FourTris, and the story focuses on them.

Tobias POV

Since I sent the letter the day before yesterday I have been a nervous wreck. And it has not been pretty.

At home when I eat dinner with Marcus an even more tense silence fills the air then usual. When I do my homework In my room I sweat just thinking about if she'll reply. If I hang out with Nate he'll slap my arm for chewing on my nails and spacing out when he's talking.

All in all I have been a little more anxious and broken down than usual.

It's lunch time now, and I think I've been spaced out for a few minutes. Nate is still talking, though, looking over at a table behind me with a dazed look.

"-so cute, man. I don't know how it is physically possible to be that adorable. Ugh, it pains me." He says, and grips the fabric over his heart dramatically. I roll my eyes.

"Who is?" I say and take a sip from my water bottle.

He doesn't look at me. "That Prior kid. Jesus Christ..." I spit out my water, and a few drops speck on his face.

"Ew, Tobias. You're disgusting." He says and wipes his face with his gray sleeve.

"You like Beatrice??" I ask astonished and a tiny bit hurt. He stops wiping and looks at me like I have two heads.

"What? No! I couldn't do that to you, Tobias." He smiles warmly at me and I return it, glad I won't have any drama with my best friend.

"I meant the other one...Caleb? Is that his name?" He asks cluelessly. My eyebrows raise and I give him a questioning look. He looks at me and sighs in defeat.

"Fine. I'm bisexual..." He mutters. He looks up at me like a puppy who just peed on the rug.

"Oh." I say. "Well, that's fine. That's not gonna change anything." I say and he grins ear to ear.

"Great! I would have told you earlier but didn't know how to bring it up." He waves his hand around and I laugh.

"So anyhow," I lean in. "Caleb Prior?" I ask incredulously.

"Yes! I mean, I've never really talked to him, but he's cute! Just look at him." He points behind me and I turn around in my chair.

The Robert boy is here today, and sits rather closely to Beatrice, who is facing the other way. I think that girl across from her is Sally...Susan! That's it. And next to Susan is Caleb. He's not paying any attention to this side of the cafeteria and takes a bite of his chicken. Susan says something and I can see his eyes crinkle up when he laughs.

"So handsome..." Nate sighs and I turn back around.

"Uh sure..." I say uncertainly and Nate laughs at me.

"Anyhow enough about me," he folds his hands and pushes his empty tray to the side. "How are things with Beatrice? Has she replied?" He asks and I scowl at the table.

"No.. But I don't even know if she got the letter! I mean what if-"

"Ah, ah, ah, stop right there, my friend." He shakes a finger at me. "Yesterday before school started I told her to check the Post Office right after school. And I'm positive she did." He stretches his arms with a proud look. "You know, you're lucky to have me."
