(Reagan's POV)
"Welp, Who's ready to swim?" Morgen asked taking her shirt off, leaving her in jeans and a bra. "Woah." Devin said before looking away. I quickly grabbed her arm and pulled her to the side. "I thought you were kidding!" I looked at her confused and almost amused. "Nope!" She smiled at me and grinned at Chris who couldn't take his eyes off of her.
She walked away after winking at me and threw her hands into the air before yelling "Come on!" and running towards the lake. Morgen and Mikayla undressed and jumped in immediately. Everyone else took a more conscious route and got in, undressing under the water. Except for Thomas who came out of the cabin with booze. "Woooooooooooo!" Mikayla yelled as Thomas tossed the bottle to Morgen before getting in the water.
Luckily I was too short for anything to be exposed out of the water but this is still something I'd never normally do. I shook my head at the thought, I was twenty three but my college roommate was still being a bad influence, how funny. We all had drinks, talked, and swam for hours. I ended up making Devin hold me because I was too short to reach the ground and stay above water. My shoulder length brown hair was soaked and slinking over my collar bones. It was getting a little cold and Devin wouldn't stop grabbing my butt so we decided to grab towels and retire to our room.
(Morgen's POV)
I see Reagan and Devin walk to the edge of the water and attempt to get out without flashing some body part to the rest of the group. I whistle at Reagan as she clings a towel to herself and Devin wraps a towel around his waist. "Have fuuuuun" I yell after them in a sing songish tone before turning back to the rest of the group. Elanna is all over me tonight. She's a bit short and she keeps jumping up and making her body peak through the water, she keeps winking at me and hasn't left my side the whole night. But my eyes are drawn to someone else. I mean she's hot, but I can't pull my gaze away from Chris.
The moonlight casts him in a beautiful light, illuminating his pale face and freckle-covered shoulder. His hair was half dried and curling in a way that complimented him absolutely perfectly. Long story short, I wanted to climb that boy like a fucking tree.
I sauntered over to him the best I could through the water, holding eye contact with him the entire way. Elanna didn't follow, I actually think I might have left her in the middle of a sentence, but I was on a mission. No time to mourn the casualties tonight. He smirked at me as I approached him.
"Hi" I said quite awkwardly. He chuckled before saying "Hi" in response. Thomas had been playing music and the shuffle landed on a slow song. "Want to dance?" I asked acting as suave as possible. "Oh I don't really d-" I interrupted him wrapping my arms around his shoulders and started swaying. He laughed for a second before wrapping his hands around my bare waist and turning me on more than I really want to admit.
I leaned in closer and we talked for like hours, kept slow dancing no matter what song was on, even through Eye of the Tiger. He was funny, sometimes even having a weird sense of humor that was somehow charming, even if it referenced internet memes I wasn't familiar with.
Even after everyone went inside and the music was gone we just went into the shallow part of the lake and sat to talk some more. It was kind of magical, we ended up spreading a giant towel on the sand. He put his jeans on and I wore his shirt and we fell asleep just like that before the sun came up.
(Mikayla's POV)
I woke up way too god damn early to Elanna pouting about Chris stealing her date. I rolled my eyes and decided to go on a walk near the sand of the lake so I could watch the sun come up. That's when I stumbled across the two aforementioned half naked love birds themselves.
