A Summer Trip

Chapter 19

(Reagan's POV)

"Where is everyone going to sleep?" Morgen asked. "Well, I actually can make that a little easier for you. I have to go now, My agent says he will fire me if I'm not in his office at 7 am." Hasidy spoke up. "I have to pack and go okay? No long goodbyes." We all nodded and she ran to her room. We decided that we had to work it out. There's 6 bedrooms and a study that people could sleep in.

We worked out that the first room would go to Devin and I. The second, and master bedroom, would be going to Morgen, Mikayla, and Elanna. The third would be Autumn and Kyndall's. The Fourth would be Heath and Thomas's. The Fifth would be Cameron and Oren's. And the Sixth would be Christopher's and extra storage for clothes.

Me and Morgen went to cook dinner while the others were rearranging and moving in. We were going to make breakfast for dinner. She wore her "Head Bitch" apron and handed me her extra that read "Hot Thot" and we got to cooking.

(Mikayla's POV)

After Morgen and Reagan went to cook Hasidy ran out after some very quick goodbyes. We started to work on the rooms after that. Me and Elanna got two twin beds out of the attic and Heath and Chris helped us assemble them in Morgen's room. Heath was working on my bed with me.

"So how are you feeling about the Morgen liking Chris situation?" I asked him. "I'm over it" He said "I'm into someone else. Someone gorgeous." He said to me. I thought it best not to pry. "How was the road trip?" He asked me. "It was great!" I replied. "You should've invited me, I could of played you some songs." He told me.

I had the slightest feeling he was flirting with me. I did my best to ignore it. I just tried to be friendly. "Oh, what songs can you play?" I asked. "Anything you want, I'll learn for you." Before I could say anything back we had finished the bed and He left to help Thomas move into his room. Me and Elanna pushed Morgen's Queen and both of our twins together against the longest wall to make a humongous ass bed. We Moved our three closets next to each other on one of the short sides and Moved the rug and desk things accordingly.

We decorated for a bit before being called in for dinner.

(Devin's POV)

While everyone else was moving into their rooms and before I went to help anyone I unpacked Reagan and I's bags. Knowing that if I didn't do it she'd never unpack hers. After I was done with that I knew I needed to find a better hiding place for the ring. I opened my suitcase and put the ring in a little bag inside of it. After that I put our suitcases under the bed and prayed she wouldn't find it. She would have no reason to be in my suitcase right?

This whole thing made me nervous but I was waiting for the right time. I couldn't wait and I knew she'd love it. Late August in the lake swing with wildflowers spread everywhere. I'd take her as the sun was setting and tell her all the reasons I loved her before asking her to be my wife. I hope she'll say yes.

(Heath's POV)

Eventually in the midst of helping Thomas move rooms we all get called for dinner. The girls have set it up buffet style and it's actually quite awesome. Pancakes, Cinnamon Roll Waffles, Bacon, Sausage, Ham, Hash Browns, Biscuits, and more. I grab my plate as Reagan is sitting down in the dining room with nothing but 5 pancakes on her plate. I smirk at her and she says "What? I'm a simple gal!"

After a few minutes everyone is sat down with there plate. Reagan at the end with Devin and Morgen at her sides. Next to Devin is Oren, Next to Oren is Mikayla and next to Mikayla is me. Thomas sits next to me at the other end of the table and on the other side is Elanna, then Kyndall, then Autumn, and Chris, then back to Morgen.

We talk about what we did the days the group that was gone was gone. Afterwards they tell us what they did. Conversation runs smoothly and the rest of the night is quite peaceful as I try and advance my relationship with Mikayla.
