(Morgen's POV)
We all stare at the black box. Slowly I open it. It's a ring. A gorgeous ring. It was vintage and silver and the band looked loosely braided. It came together in the middle to form a section that almost looked like a flower on a lily pad. She was going to love it. "We aren't telling Reagan." was the first thing out of my mouth. "She deserves the surprise. And even though Devin sucks at hiding we can't ruin this for him either."
Everyone agreed. We all promised to keep our word. And then I called Devin.
"OOOOOOOOOOOOOH BOI!" I said to him when he picked up the phone. "Yes?" he sounded confused. "Get out of earshot from Reagan!" I said. Then I heard footsteps. "Okay, what is it?" "We found it" I said to him. There was a silence. Then strategically he said "What did you find exactly?" "It, The Ring!" I basically shouted at him. "Okay then you know now. Don't tell Reagan please? It's a surprise. I'm going to ask her at the end of the summer." I squealed.
"Okay we all agreed not to tell her." I heard a sigh of relief. "Thank you." He said quietly. "Bye" "Bye" He ended the call. "He's going to do it at the end of the summer!" I told everyone. We put back the things I took, other than the Hobo Johnson Hat.
She was going to be so happy.
