The New Kid

     It appeared Sebastian didn't notice Johnathan staring, he turned around and went back to work. Quietly wondering what he did that night. What he might've done to Sebastian. After three agonizing periods it was finally lunch time, and it was time to introduce Sebastian to his friends. Sebastian was sitting alone at a table with some food and drinks splashed on him from some other kids. Johnathan approached gingerly.
     "Hey Seb! What...happened to you..?"
     Johnathan knew already what had happened and who had done it. A junior named Kyle Andrews, he'd done this before, mostly to Johnathan himself or Thomas. He never did it to Eden though, he strongly believes that Kyle has a crush on Eden but he could be wrong since Eden is actually very scary.
   "Oh! Johnathan!! Hey! Uhh, eh-what's up man?" Sebastian replied quickly as if coming out of a trance.
     "You alright man? You seem a little on edge."
     Johnathan knew the look, it's one he had all the time when Kyle bullied him. He was paranoid and always seemed on edge.
     "It's...it's nothing I promise. Just a little hangover is all."
     "Ok, well, do you wanna hang out with my friends? We have a spot outside."
     "Yeah, sure. I'd like that."
     Sebastian got up and slowly intertwined their hands together. They walked to the spot, and the suddenly Johnathan remembered what had happened that night. Oh god why did he do that? He cleared it from his mind and continued walking, closing his hand a little tighter around Sebastian's. They found the table outside, before they knew it Eden was swearing at Johnathan.
   "WELL NOW I KNOW WHAT TOOK YOU SO DAMN LONG!" She swore at Johnathan even smacking him on the back of the head.
    "Hi, my name's Eden! We have science and biology together. Nice to meet you Sebastian!" She greeted him with kind words and an even kinder smile, just after hitting Johnathan and yelling. It's crazy how well she can control her emotions.
   "So...you're the guy who's been keeping my Johnathan from me?" Thomas said, he was clearly joking. Despite being a lot shorter than Sebastian he still seemed intimidating.
     "Uhhhh...Yes...?"
     "Well then bring it in man!" Thomas stretched out his arms and hugged Sebastian, he had to stand on his tiptoes to really hug him. Sebastian bent down and returned the hug. Sebastian's mood seemed to increase from what appeared to be sad back to his usual happy self.

Johnathan was glad to see him smile again, especially after what he did at that party.
