@Callie_D Thurid Guild is a complete and utter... how old are you? Because If you're under fifteen I don't think I'm allowed to say this word.
I think when Thurid and I met, we just clashed instantly. I was funny, whereas he was annoying. I was tall and striking, whereas he was not so tall and very forgettable. Of all the names you could choose, he chose Thurid. It sounds like a type of potato. Also, I was dead, so I had the fact everyone was impressed with me on my side. You meet a living skeleton and a boring man, who are going to remember more?
I don't really like his personality, and he wasn't stupid (contrary to popular belief) and picked up on that. When he got into power, he was just out to get me for all the times I had insulted him before. This made me dislike him even more, so he hated me more, started being even nastier, so I disliked him even more and before you know it it's escalated into some very funny insults and poor Valkyrie getting caught in the crossfire.
The moral of that story: Make sure you're taller and funnier that Thurid Guild, and everyone will like you
