Pidge dragged Shiro up the ramp but she had no substantial hope that they would get away. They had no weapons, no plan, and no time. Her only idea was to barricade themselves in the lion and hope the defenses held out. 'Yeah, just like a coward.' She thought to herself.

Pidge turned to face Haggar. She was too close for Pidge to get Shiro and herself safely into the lion. Her only option now was to fight. Before Haggar had a chance to react, Pidge launched herself at the Alten, and pushed her to the ground.

The pair rolled around the floor clawing at each other until Haggar managed to pull away. She prepared to let loose a blast of lightning when an alarm sounded over the intercom.

"The lions of Voltron have been located." A booming voice said. "They are attacking the fleet. Release the fighters and seize the lions. Protect bay 2711 at all costs." Sure enough explosions and sirens could be heard as a result of the attack.

Haggar growled in frustration. Rather than commencing her attack, she grabbed Pidge by the neck of her sweater and pulled her to her feet. "Do you think your friends would surrender if your life was in danger?" She said cruelly. Pidge only glared. Haggar dragged the small girl with her, over to the wall and pressed a button on the comm-link mounted there.

"Commander Falsk, let the paladins know that unless they surrender the green paladin will be killed. Also send in a troop of soldiers to secure the bay." As she finished the command, she grinned evilly. "Despite your best efforts I will still capture the lions of Voltron." She addressed Pidge. "Then I will dispose of you and your friends, permanently."

"Not if I have anything thing to do with it." a voice called from across the room. Both Haggar and Pidge looked back. The clone had managed to rise to his feet and was now positioned at the opposite wall. He held his hand over the emergency airlock release button.

""Don't you dare!" Haggar screeched but it was too late. With one swift motion he used his metal arm to smash through the glass panel and punched the button.

A blaring alarm echoed through the cavernous room as the massive door panel began to slide open. Air was pulled out and it created a vacuum that dragged everything towards it.

Haggar used her powers to teleport out of the hangar leaving the others to meet the oxygenless void. Pidge raced towards Shiro and the black lion but found herself being sucked away. Her hands clawed through the air, scrambling for purchase but she couldn't find a hand hold. She took one final breath before tumbling out into the emptiness of space. Gasping for nonexistent air, she became dizzy and everything went black.
