Amber's POV:

I walked through the hall alone, since Harry had to stay after class. I hope nothing is wrong.

I walked faster than usual, I think I was becoming more comfortable with everything. Sure... I still don't know anyone, and I may have a terrible past with them and now I don't even know it, but ever since I met... or re-met.... Harry, life seems a little better.

I smiled down at my books at the thought of him. All the sudden I ran into something and was knocked off my feet and I landed on my back. My books and papers flew up in the air and all the commotion in the hallway stopped. Everyone stared.

I rubbed the back of my head and groaned, slowly opening my eyes. Above me stood a guy, handsome is an understatement. He was wearing a football jersey but I didn't see him at the athletic table yesterday at lunch.

He flashed a white smile at me and said, "Well it's nice to see you again."

I laughed and said, "Yeah, just not this way..."

He extended his hand and helped me up. He bent down and picked up all my books and papers and handed them to me. I took them shyly. He said, "Long time no see."

"Yeah...." I mumbled. Does he know about my memory loss, or is he like Harry was and just assumed I knew everything about everyone?

"So, you probably don't 'remember' me I guess?" He stared at my sympathetically.

"Uhm. No, Im sorry. What's your name?" I grinned.

"Austin Howard."

I shifted my balance and said, "Okay, hi Austin. You are officially the third person I've met." I laughed. "Well I am Amber- but you probably already know that." I looked down.

"How could I forget you?" He smiled sweetly.

I looked back up a little surprised that he said that. He was definitely flirting - I think. Do I even remember what flirting is like?

Just as I was about to ask him what his next class was, an arm wrapped around my waist. I looked over and Harry was standing there, staring Austin down. Austin immediately looked away and his ego shrunk to the size of a grape. He said, "Hey, Harry."

"Hello." Harry's eyes narrowed. "Shouldn't you be going, Austin?"

"Yeah, I - I have class." He stuttered. "see you later, Amber." And then he took off like a scared little kid.

I looked at Harry, a little upset to be honest. I liked talking to Austin and Harry just decided to run him off. "What was that about?"

"Nothing, it's fine." He smiled. "We just have a past... that's all."

"Past? What happened?" I questioned. I hated to ask all these questions all the time... but I can't help it. I have no memory.

"It might be better if you don't know. Trust me." He grinned.

A part of me still wanted to know. But, I trust Harry. "Okay. I trust you." I smiled.

"Next class?" He asked.

"Biology." I groaned. "There's only a month left of school and I can't catch up- I don't know what I'm going to do. I have to graduate this year."

"You're the smartest person I know. You can do it." He reassured me. "You're also the sexiest I know." He winked and smirked at the same time.

"Harry!" I laughed as I smacked his arm playfully. "Profanity."

"Baby... you've said and done alot more than that." He laughed but I stopped. He noticed my reaction and said, "What? Did I say something?"

Truth was, he did say something. That I've done more than that? Then the dreaded question arose in my mind: am I virgin?? What if I'm not and then I don't even fucking remember my first time!!

"Nothing." I lied. "I just have to get to class. See you later." And I turned the other way and took off. I looked back and Harry was left standing alone watching me leave, confused.

I sighed as I power-walked to biology. The class was packed and I looked for Charis but she was no where to be seen. I decided to go sit next to a black girl with poofy, yet adorably attractive hair. She smiled at me as I set my books down and I grinned back. I decided to introduce myself since she seemed nice.

"Hi, I'm Amber." I said nervously.

"Hey, I know you have amnesia or something... do you remember me?" She said sweetly.

"No, I'm sorry. I don't remember anyone." I sighed.

"It's okay, I'm Alisha. We used to be best friends." She smiled.

"Used to be?" I asked.

"Yeah.. it's a complicated situation. We liked the same guy." She laughed. "But it was a looong time ago. Like 8th grade. It was stupid." She laughed.

"Oh." I laughed. "Well that's silly. Atleast I don't remember it..."

"Yay!" She laughed. "Do you-"

"Good morning hormonal teenagers." A nasally-voice boomed from the front of the classroom and cut Alisha off. A middle aged man who was losing most of his hair stood at the front with a depressed look on his face.

"What's his problem?" I whispered over to Alisha.

"Thats Mr. Wellman. He's just like that. He thinks teenagers are the devils in disguise and are always up to no good." She giggled. This girl was always laughing. She put me in a good mood, that's for sure.

"Well that's a little quick to judge." I laughed and looked back up front.

"Today I will be showing you how to dissect a sheep's brain. But I don't trust any one of you with a knife or anything ever." He scoffed. "So I will show you under the microscope on the projector."

The class was boring beyond belief. He acted like he was terrified that there was a knife in the same building as us "teenagers." We aren't that bad. Well, some are... but give us a break.

The bell rang and Mr. Wellman yelled, "All of you get out!"

I couldn't help but laugh at his unnecessary fear of teenagers. I walked out laughing and Alisha caught up with me. "Before Mr. Wellman interrupted me, I was going to ask you if you wanted to sit with me at lunch?"

"Sure I would love that!" I smiled my new-old-friend Alisha and we walked to the lunchroom together. And still, no sign of Harry or Charis.
