Amber's POV."Oh." I breathed. "Your house..."
Harry watched me anxiously. I really was lost for words. I had no idea what happened that night we met and went back to Harry's house. And honestly, I don't know if I want to know.
"Hey." Harry caught my attention. "Are you okay?"
I looked at him and took a deep breath. "Yeah, I mean no. Well I am... it's just... what exactly did we do at your house?"
Harry grinned. I don't know if that's a good thing. "Amber, nothing happened that night. Your mom was going to be stuck at the hospital all night, and you needed a warm place to go with the twins."
I sighed a sigh of pure relief. "Okay... so, do you want to go there now?"
"Really? You want to?"
"Yeah." I nodded. "I mean, I don't want anything to happen between us yet. I just want to see your house. That's it." I made my intentions clear. I didn't want to come off the wrong way and lead myself into something I am clearly not ready for.
"Noted." He smiled. We pulled out of the parking lot of Connie's Diner and we were on our way to Harry's house. The drive was short - about ten minutes. When we pulled up to his house, there was already a car in the driveway.
"Who else lives here?" I asked curiously.
"My mum." He grinned. "Are you ready to go?"
I nodded as he took me by the hand and led me up the walkway. We walked in the door and a beautiful, blone figure walked into the room smiling. She engulfed me in a big bear hug and said, "Amber! I am so glad to see you!"
"Mum." Harry warned. "What did I tell you."
She took a step back cautiously. "Oh! I am sorry. I know you but you don't know me." She stuck out her hand and said, "I'm Anne... Harry's mum."
I shook her hand and smiled. "I'm amber, it's nice to meet you... even though I've met you before." I laughed.
"It will take some getting used to. But I am up for challenge, how about you?" She smiled sweetly. "I am just so glad you are back in Harry's life. Especially after-"
"Mum." Harry cut her off. He looked at me and said, "Come on Amber, lets go upstairs..." He took me by the hand and led me past Anne.
He may have dismissed what she said, but I didn't.
When we walked up the stairs, he took me to a spare bedroom. "This is where you slept with Connor and Bria." He then walked two doors down to his bedroom. "And this is where I slept.. By myself."
I sighed a sigh of relief. I know we have slept together, but it is still a relief to know that we didn't the first night we met. After all, I did have my baby brother and sister with me.
"You act so relieved." Harry grinned. "Way to make me feel prideful." He said sarcastically.
"Harry, I didn't mean it like that. It's just... this is all so hard to take in. It's alot, okay? I have accepted that we have slept together and I don't remember any of it... but I am glad that I wasn't the type of girl who slept with someone the first night I met you." I narrowed my eyes. "You understand that, right?"
"Yes, I do. I may not understand completely what you are going through, but I am trying my best to see and understand things from your point of view. I want to help you any way I can, Amber." His emerald spheres burned through me with passion filling them. He was being so sincere, and I believed every word he said, he meant.
Slowly, he leaned down and planted a kiss on my eager lips. When the 2 and a half second kiss was over, I realized I craved more. I put my hands on the back of his neck and tugged at his curls as I pressed his lips back on to mine.
When I became satisfied with the passionate kiss, I pulled back. A grin formed on his face like I have never seen before.
"What's that?" I grinned.
His grin faded. "What's what?"
"That face you made." I laughed. The grin suddenly came back and I said "That face!"
He grinned even more until he was smiling ear to ear, and he said, "I'm happy."
"I am too." I smiled, pulling him back down into another kiss.
