*ADOPTED*~Twenty-One~

The morning did indeed start very early that way we could get all the shit done before everyone made it to the house. We were just happy that Mama D was taking care of the kids while we got it done. Klayton worked his magic with the musical department and his new girlfriend came over and helped with the grilling and setting up the buffet on the patio. I tried to help out as much as I could, but Criss was always telling me to stop and go sit down and put my legs up for a while, which was a dead giveaway to Klayton, for as soon as Criss took over what I was doing he came over to me and asked when I was going to have it, and if I knew if it was a boy or a girl.

I asked him if it was that obvious already as I looked down at my belly. Klayton snickered and said it wasn't physically obvious yet, but that he knew by the way Criss was acting. I pulled him close to me and told him that it was a boy, but not to say anything because Criss doesn't even know yet. Klayton gave me a thumbs up as he went back to help Criss. By the time everything was done, the family and friends started to file in. Most of the party was small talk and lots of laughs about crazy shit that each of them done since the last time they have seen each other. Johnny, AJ, and all the other kids were down at the playground keeping each other busy playing with the dogs. I didn't get excited until I heard my brother's loving voice tell me that he was finally here, I flew into his arms as I told him how much I missed him.

I pulled him to Criss and introduced them to each other, I was ecstatic when I found they actually liked each other. Trinity gave me a big hug as she said she definitely needed to get Tommy to come to visit more often because she missed me and lil Alex. She took a look at my new love interest and said I really made it good with that one because he was a sexy FOX! I thanked her as I agreed with her. Suddenly all the speakers blasted to Klayton's crazy/awesome music, Criss came over to where I was and sat down behind me in the same chair and wrapped his arms around me as he told me that Klayton was bored with the jabber, and wanted to get down with the tunes.

So during the partying music, we all gathered together around the two large picnic tables and began to indulge on our grilled meal, after me and the ladies took care of the kids and got them all settled down for their food and juice. All of Criss's buddies noticed the dramatic change in Criss since AJ and I came into his life, and they all told me that I was indeed the greatest thing that ever happened to him and Johnny. Criss walked up behind me and as he kissed me on the neck he told them all that they were so right about that. Then he lovingly gave my tummy a rub and asked when we should tell our friends and family the great news. I snickered at his adorable impatience and said no time was better than the present.

Criss stood up as he proudly stated that he gathered everyone here today not just to celebrate the reunion, but to celebrate the newest addition that would soon bless the Sarantakos family! & that after the reunion party was over with, he and I would be getting married! Everyone cheered and rooted for us in unison, then came all the questions about what we were having a boy or a girl if we decided on any names yet, and how Johnny and Alex were taking it. I jumped in and told them all that I was leaving it up to Criss to name our child, and that we wouldn't know the gender until I pulled the string and let the balloons fly free.

Right after I said it they all hollered to let them fly!! I pulled the strings and thousands of blue balloons went into the air...Criss jumped up and down with tears of pure joy as he was holding AJ and Johnny telling them that they were having a baby brother! The wedding ceremony was short sweet and simple just the way we both wanted it, beens our day was full activity we didn't want to make the wedding ruin the reunion, with friends that we knew we wouldn't be seeing much of after they left.

After our magical wedding song & dance as man and wife, he moved very close to me and gave me the most emotional kiss ever as he thanked me for giving him a son, and making his life so complete as tears fell from his face. As the day went on and the sun was slowly going down, Mama D came out to where our two boys were almost asleep laying inside the tire tunnel. After she took a picture of it she gently lifted them both up and said it was bedtime for all the lil munchkins so they could go into their dreamland. Criss smiled at me as he said mom used to tell him that all the time before she put him to sleep.

Sully, Sandy, Klayton, Abby, Rachel, Kevin, Sierra, Leland, Tommy, Trinity, Criss and I were the only ones left still chatting and laughing while sitting at the patio talking about baby names and where Criss was going to take me for our honeymoon. But I told them very quickly that I was pregnant, and didn't think a honeymoon would be needed anymore, and that there was really no place like home in Serenity where I wanted our son to be born. Criss seconded the notion and said that a honeymoon at home sounded perfect to him too...because his son would want to be coming out in a couple of months, and we were planning on spending our honeymoon decorating the nursery.

The months just flew by and before I knew it I was being rushed to the hospital by my hubby, while Mama D looked after our two other boys. No sooner than I was taken back to deliver our son, all of our closest friends, Sully, Sandy, Klayton, Rachel, my brother Tommy and Trinity were there in the waiting room, with Criss, JD, and Costa. After six hours our son successfully was brought into the world and as the nurse placed him into his daddy's arms Criss lifted him up and proudly said his son Xristos Nicolas Sarantakos was here at last as tears of joy streamed down his face. Then he crawled in the bed next to me and said how beautiful and amazing I was and that he loved me.
