Sitting at his desk Mac was looking at a picture of Mia when she was a baby.
**Flashback**
Mac was getting ready to take his baby daughter to meet his team "Mac are you sure you'll be okay with her?" Claire asked just to double check as it was the 1st time he was taking her out "Claire we'll be fine her carseat is ready in the car her bag is organised" Mac went over to the bassinet and saw his beautiful little girl sleeping gently he puck her up and secured her in his arms.Claire looked on with pride as she saw her husband and her baby girl "while your gone I'm gonna go for a lie-down" "ok see you later" Claire kissed her baby and husband bye as they went out the door.
Mac arrived at his office with Mia in her carseat and got her out, he sat with his back to the door when Stella saw him sitting there and wanted to know why "Mac, why are you here? You should be with Claire and the baby" "Stella Claire is fine and so is the baby she's sleeping" "how do you know she's sleeping?" "Because she's with me " "how with a baby monitor?" "No she's in my arms and you're gonna wake her" Mac turned round so Stella could see the baby "Oh Mac she's adorable" Mac beamed with pride "yeah she's a stunner might have to watch her when she's older" Stella laughed "Yeah, so what's her name?" "Amelia Claire McKenna Taylor" " Cute, so can I hold her?" Mac smiled "yeah just support her head" " I know Mac, so has she met the team yet?" Mac shook his head "no I wanted her too meet her godmother first that's if you want to?" Stella looked happy " I'd love to, now let me hold her" Mac carefully handed his baby over to Stella "who dressed her today" Stella enquired as the tot was wearing a cute yellow dress and headband " That would have to be Claire" Stella laughed "Let's go meet the team beautiful baby"
Stella whistled and the team looked at her "OK I'd like you all too meet the newest member of the team, be nice she's younger than you". Danny and Flack looked at each other and thought someone new to wind up " Everyone this is Amelia" Stella told them and moved out the way so Mac could walk in with Mia, Flack was the first one to regain speech " wow Mac she's adorable" " for once I agree with Don congrats Mac" Mac had to laugh at his team.
**End Of Flashback**
Mac then looked at a picture of Mia when she was 1 and had learned how to walk
**flashback**
Claire had the day off work and was spending it with Mia while Mac worked since making Stella Mia's Godmother Claire had became close friends with CSI. Claire knew that Stella had the day off and wanted to know if she wanted to come over and see Mia

Stella - Bonasera?
Claire - Hey Its Claire
Stella - oh hey, is everything okay?
Claire - Yeah do you wanna come over and see Mia
Stella - I'd love to be there soon
Claire - OK

Claire looked at Mia who was looking at her mother with a curious look " Aunt Stella coming to see you!" Mia looked overjoyed at the thought of seeing Stella,
*20 Minutes Later*
-Knock Knock-
Claire went to answer the door with Mia crawling behind her crying and answered the door "hey Claire" "Hey" she said picking Mia up "aww what's up with my faviroute girl?" "She's tired" Mia held her arms out for Stella indicating she wanted to be held by her Stella took her into her arms and nuzzled her head into her neck. They went to sit on the couch and Claire placed Mia on the floor to play with her toys Mia was sitting there quietly when she shouted "Dada, Where Dada" Stella laughed "take it she's a daddy's girl?" " Yeah, she's a proper daddy's girl".
Mia stood up against the couch and decided to try something she saw her Mommy and Daddy do and put one foot in front of the other as she was doing this Mac walked in and saw his little girl walking and let out a big grin "Mia come to Daddy" Claire and Stella walked in to seeing Mia walking and Claire was overjoyed at the fact and ran over to give her daughter a big kiss.
**End FlashBack**
Mac let out a tear he wanted his BabyGirl back and would stop at nothing to get her back.
A/N - I know there was no Mia in this chapter but I wanted to show how Mac was coping with his daughter being missing :-) Next chapter will have Mia in and flashbacks from her memories including the tragic 9/11
