A/N - Sorry I Haven't Updated But I've Had No Ideas For This Until I Re-watched A Few Episodes And It Gave Me Inspiration. Enjoy :-)

It had been 3Days since Mia tried escaping from the lab and since she last saw Ellie as Jo had grounded her, Mac had become worried about Mia as she had become a former shell of herself, she had gone to school, the lab, home and bed, "Mia? You awake?" "Yeah" "you coming out of there today?" "Have I got to go anywhere?" "The lab" "then obviously I'm coming out" Mac smiled even if Mia wasn't herself she was still sarcastic "Come on" Mia sighed and unlocked her door "hey sleepy" "hi" Mia walked away from her Dad into the kitchen and saw Christine in there she was about to turn and walk away when Mac grabbed her shoulders "Mia,you need to eat" " no I don't" she tried to shake Mac's hands off her shoulder but he wouldn't allow her to leave "Sit down and have something to eat" Mia shook her head she had a plan when Mac sat down she would run to her room and refuse to leave until it was time to leave for the lab. Sighing to himself he sat down as soon as he did Mia stood up and ran out the kitchen Mac knew this was her plan he went after her one thing she didn't do was lock her door so he could get in "what is up with you?" "I'm not hungry" "you haven't been hungry for the last few days" Mia shrugged "why do you even care?" Mac looked sad that his daughter thought that way " I do care Mia" "no you don't" Mac sighed " get ready we're leaving in a few minutes and you will eat something" Mia glared at her Dad "we'll see" Mac looked back "stop mumbling".

** At The Lab**

Mia had been bored for 3hours "Daddy?" Mac looked up when he heard 'Daddy' "What's up?" "I feel dizzy and sick" Mac looked worried and stood up before he could react Mia had collapsed, he rung 911 and within 10minutes they arrived "Mac? What happened?" "She said she felt dizzy and sick and then she collapsed" "have they said what's wrong with her?" "She hasn't eaten for the last few days" "Detective Taylor?" One of the medics was calling him "do you know how your Daughter got this cut?" Mac looked at Mia's stomach to see a massive cut in her stomach that was bleeding "No, she never mentioned she was bleeding" "you didn't recognise her top was bloodstained?" "She's been wearing black a lot" "she has lost a lot of blood, she's going to need a blood transplant" Mac nodded "will she be okay?" The medic looked at him "she's lucky we got to her in time otherwise she woudnt be" Mac looked at his daughter who was extremely pale and looked lifeless "Detective she's gonna be OK we got to her in time" Mac nodded "Jo you're in charge until I'm back" Jo nodded "give her my love" Mac went with his daughter who was hooked up to an IV the minute she arrived at the hospital.

Mia woke the next morning and felt an immediate pain in her arm she looked around and saw an IV in her arm, following it she saw a blood bag as she hated needles she started thrashing her arm about and tried to get it out, She didn't notice her Dad walk in and try and calm her down "Mia!Mia stop" she didn't listen she wanted the needle out the nurse came and sedated her so they could put the the needle back in her arm "was there any need to sedate her?" "She wouldn't have willingly let us put back would she?" Mac had to agree she had her Mothers hate for needles, she couldn't even take Mia for her injections when she was little he had to do it, he wished Claire was here to help Mia get through this. It was another 3Hours befor Mia woke again "hey sleepyhead, you're awake" "no this is an illusion, of course I'm awake" Mac smiled "so you gonna tell me how you ended up with a cut in your stomach?" Mia shook her head "none of your business" "it is if someone stabbed you" "I haven't been stabbed" "I know, the cut is fresh and you haven't left the apartment in ages to be stabbed" Mia looked annoyed "I did it to myself!" Mac knew she had he just wanted her to say it " I know you did, but what I don't get is why" "felt like it" Mac looked at Mia with sadness in his eyes "you felt like trying to end your life?" Mia nodded "yes" "why?" "Maybe you would care about me if I did" "I care about you now" "no you don't you don't care since you met Christine" Mac sighed he should have known this was about Christine "Mia Christine wants to get to know you" "I don't want to get to know her" before Mac could reply Jo walked in with a load of balloons "hey your awake" Mia smiled "Yep, you look like you've brought an entire store" "I didn't know which one you would like so I got loads" Jo grinned "seriously though don't give me heart attack at my age" Mia laughed "I'll try not to" "good, Ellie misses you" "I miss her".
