My Dad Is What?

Disclaimer - I probably should have done this in chapter 1 but forgot so here goes I Own Nothing You Might Recognise I Only Own Amelia Taylor and Future Character Alice. CBS owns everything else. :-)

It had been 3 months since Mia's abduction and she was having trouble sleeping. Her Dad had been a great support as well the team but lately she thought her Dad was acting weird and she was determined to find out what it was.

It was a sunny afternoon in NewYorkCity and Mia and Ellie were on their way to the Lab, since Mia's abduction Ellie won't let her friend go anywhere alone " Hey Elle? Have you noticed anything odd about my Dad lately?" "Come to think of it he has been cheerful" Ellie told her friend "how you mean cheerful?" Dunoee just acting not like Mac, you don't think he's got a girlfriend do you?" "My Dad have a girlfriend? Ellie the thought makes me laugh I mean look how long he and Peyton lasted!" Ellie thought Mia did have a point.

They arrived at the lab 20minutes after school had finished and went to see Jo "Hey Mom" Ellie was Jo's adopted Daughter but Jo didn't treat her any different to what she Did Tyler. "Hey Girls how was school?" Mia sighed " load a crap don't ever want to go back" Jo laughed and asked why " well Jo today Mrs Andrews Gym teacher made everyone run 25laps of the field and then told us to warm up! Mr Johnson said my history project wasn't as good as it could of been AND then Miss Forsythe said I wasn't trying hard enough with my English assignment" Mia finished her rant just as Mac walked in apparently he heard her and wanted to see what the fuss was "Finished Yet?" Mac asked amused " oh don't you start" Mac laughed and gave his daughter a hug, Mia looked confused as he never gave her hugs unless she was ill "Okaay... What's with the hug?" "What? Can't I give my only child a hug?" "Nope its weird" Mac rolled his eyes and walked away and shouted over his shoulder "Do your homework" Mia groaned.

3 hours later Mia had finished all homework and was bored so she logged onto her facebook and updated her status

*Chillin At The Lab With My Girlie Miss Ellie Danville Boreed!*

"Hey Mia?" "Yeah?" "Do you think Reed fancies Me?" Mia looked shocked Reed was her 24 year old half brother they had the same Mom but different Dads "No" she bluntly said Ellie sighed.

2 Hours later Mia was asleep on the couch in her Dads office when he came in and saw her sleeping he hated the fact he had to wake her up "Mia time to wake up we gotta go back home" Mia groggily opened her eyes "you're not gonna hug me again are you?" Mac laughed "no come on munchkin let's get you home

**the next day**

Mia woke up to voices in the appartment "Jo I'll tell her when I'm ready" "Mac she's your daughter she has a right to know" "I wasn't aware this was her relationship Jo" Mia looked confused 'what relationship'? "Jo I've known Christine since I was in uniform" "Look just tell her what's the worse that can happen" Mac scoffed " Jo you've seen Mia and her strops"

Mia made her way to Ellie's so they could go to Coney Island "Hey Mia Ellie's getting ready come in and wait for her" "Thanks Jo, what were you and my Dad talking about this morning?" "Mia your Dad should be the one to tell you that not me" "please Jo" Jo sighed " your Dad is dating a woman called Christine" "My Dad is WHAT?" "I told him to tell you" "Listen tell Ellie I've had to go home please and we'll go tomorrow but right now I need to see my Dad"

"Mac when do I get to meet your Daughter?" " Not yet Christine she's still delicate from her abduction" "oh poor thing" Mia quietly entered the appartment and heard her Dad and who she assumed was Christine so she went to listen to the conversation " I really want to meet her though Mac looking at the pictures she looks adorable" "She's adorable alright but when she gets started she has a firey temper" Mia scoffed and thought 'why would she think I'm adorable? She don't even know me' "Mac" "she's gone out with her friend and won't be back until later" Mia then decided to make her presence known so banged her bag down making Christine and Mac jump "Mia? What are you doing here?you're meant to be with Ellie?" "Nice to know I'm wanted so whose this then?" "Hello you must be Amelia I'm Christine your Dads girlfriend" Mia raised an eyebrow " First its Mia and second I know who you Jo told me" "Oh well its nice to meet you" " I would the same but its really not" " Mia less of the attitude" Mac scolded her " NO because you didn't tell me you were dating what did you think I was gonna do? Kick off and start banging my feet like a toddler? "Oi don't talk to your Dad like that!" "Who are you my Mom? Nah so you can't tell me what to do" with that said Mia walked off, Christine turned to Mac who said "well now you've met Mia
