You know he doesn't like you, why did you even think that he did even for a second, you quiznaking idiot?! Allura was right.... Allura was right.

A few days ago....

"Hey, Allura?"

"Yes?"

"I need your advice on something..."

"What is it, (Y/n)? Talk to me,"

"I like this guy... but I don't know if he likes me back..."

"Who is this guy?"

"L-Lotor..."

Her eyes went wide. "(Y/n), I'm sorry to inform you, but, Lotor admires me. We spend so much time together with our alchemy and studying; I'm sure he likes me. But, I'm sure you two can be friends?"

Now it was my turn for my eyes to widen.

"O-oh, I see... Well, thank you anyway, I guess. Goodnight, Princess."

Every single fucking time I thought that maybe I like someone, and they like me, someone else always has to take them away from me at the last second. And they end up liking the other person. Granted, it was only one other (girl/boy), but still... I thought that maybe there a spark between us, but then I found out (she/he) had a (girlfriend/boyfriend).... Shiro has/had Adam, Pidge has her family, Hunk has his family, Lance has Keith, and Keith has Lance. For fuck's sake, the space dog and Kaltenecker have Lance and Keith! .....

....And Lotor has Allura; Allura has Lotor.

And what do I have?

Nothing.

Running for the door and locking myself in my room, I sat down on the cold floor, tears slowly falling from my cheeks, making him all puffy, disgustingly warm, and red. My breathe kept hitching about every 2 seconds, and my heart wouldn't stop beating. It felt like when you're a little kid, and someone steals the last cookie from you, and you know you couldn't get it back; that's how I felt— I was heartbroken.

I figured that he would find one way or another to break down my door, so after getting up with the little strength I had left, and booked it for the outside. Allura had not yet made the ship leave the planet we were resting on, and so I ran for it.

I hid by the creek, the soft sounds of water passing by calmed me down a bit, reminding me of how Lance or Keith could comfort me with their calm voices, making me feel relaxed.

I kept telling myself that under my breath, hoping that if I said it enough times, it would become a reality.
