As we were walking out the door Terrence grabbed my arm.
"You looking gorgeous as usual, don't be letting them little boys touch all on you." He said biting his lip.
Oh God I could feel the heat rushing to my cheeks. Why does he keep doing this?
"Like you want to?" Yeah I was feeling kind of bold I just hoped he didn't have a smart ass remark and surprisingly he didn't. He just stood there with this grin on his face. I turned and walked away feeling accomplished. I hopped in Toni's car. I felt her burning a hole in the side of my face.
"What?"
"What was you and my brother talking about."
Shit.
"Nothing just joking around as usual."
She gave me a face and pulled off, I know she saw right through my lie.
"Mhm I bet."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"I know you two be flirting."
"What makes you think we be flirting?"
"I'm not stupid nor am I deaf. So you like him?" She asked moving with excitement.
"I mean he's attractive and.."
"I asked if you liked him not if you think he's attractive." Toni asked cutting me off. She always liked to just get right to the point.
"Yeah a little bit, but I'm not trying to go there with Terrence. "
"I get you. You know if you need to talk I'm here don't be lying to me like we haven't known each other all our life."
"Yeah sorry I guess I thought it would be weird because it's Terrence we're talking about not just some random guy."
"Girl please." She said waving me off.
I laughed just as we pulled up to Derricks house. From what I could see there was already a whole bunch of people here.
"Well damn." Toni said parking her car.
"I know." I said getting out walking towards the house. Let the fun begin.
