Part 4

Liyah P.O.V.

My mom most definitely isn't going to hear about this because I'm not trying to hear her mouth. I looked over at Toni who looked quite satisfied for some reason.

"What you looking all happy for?"

"What, I just couldn't be happy?" She asked smiling.

"Really, Toni don't make me kick you in your neck."

"Alright damn no need to get all hostile but I got Derrick number and we was all boo loving before stuff got out of hand."

"Ooooh better not let Terrence find out you all boo'd up with a boy."

"No YOU better not let Terrence find out you was all boo'd up with some boy,mhm I saw you."

I smiled and blushed a little.

"I didn't even get his number though." I said pouting.

"Aww I'm sorry, I mean I can ask Derrick about him if you want."

"Nah it's cool if maybe I didn't get his number for a reason."

Toni looked at me.

"The reason being niggas don't know how to act and you never got a chance to get it."

All I could do was laugh at her reasoning. This girl is a mess.

"Why you laughing, I'm serious."

"I know you are that's why it's so funny. It's okay though."

"Mhm you just scared of what Terrence gon say."

"Ain't nobody scared of Terrence."

"Mhm."

After that there was a silence and I got to think for a second. Part of me is worried about what Terrence will think. Maybe I'm just over thinking it, I mean Terrence is a naturally flirty person. But I'm not trying to go there with Terrence anyway. Ugh I just don't know I'm so confused.

"Hellooo Liyah." Toni said snapping in front of my face.

"I'm sorry what was you saying?"

"I asked if you was gonna sleep over my house or go home?"

"Let me call my mom."

By the way her voice sounded when she answered the phone I could tell she was sleeping.

"Hey ma is it cool if I stay at Toni's house?"

"Is it okay with Katrina?"

"Yeah."

"Alright then it's fine."

"Okay bye ma, love you."

"Love you too."

That was the end of our conversation. I let Toni know I was gonna stay with her. I was tired as hell and ended up falling asleep.

"Wake yo ass up!" Toni yelled making me jump. I glared over at her to see her laughing so hard she started crying. I just got out the car and went in the house. Yeah I have a key to the house so does Anthony and my mom. Terrence, Toni and Ms.Kat has a key to our house. I went upstairs and got what I was gonna wear to bed, a towel and headed to the bathroom. Despite how tired I was I needed to take a shower before I went to sleep. When I got out the shower I walked in the room to see Toni sleep. She looked so peaceful, too bad I'm about to get revenge on her. Instead of just yelling in her ear I decided to jump on her too.

"Wake yo ass up!" I yelled imitating her stunt she pulled earlier.

"Really bitch!?" She yelled getting up.

"Mhm that's some karma for your ass."

She got up and went to the bathroom. I put my curly hair up in a ponytail and was out a second later.

When I woke up it was 10:00. Toni was still sleeping. I heard noise downstairs and figured it must be Ms.Kat. Sure enough when I got down there it was her. She was scrambling around the kitchen.

"Good morning Ms.Kat, you need help?"

"Oh good morning Liyah. I'm trying to get breakfast together for you guys and I'm trying to hurry up so I won't be late. I knew I should've gotten up earlier."

"I could finish it for you."

"Thank you so much Liyah." She said gathering her things to leave.

"See you later Liyah."

"Alright see you."

I started making the last few pieces of bacon and flipped the pancakes. The eggs were finished already so that's one less thing that has to be done. I heard somebody coming downstairs. I looked to see Terrence coming in the kitchen with just his boxers on. I stopped myself from staring before I got caught.

"Just come in here naked why don't you." I said sarcastically.

He smirked at me. "You would like that wouldn't you?"

I rolled my eyes playfully.

"So what made you decide to cook?" He asked taking a piece of bacon.

"Your mom was cooking but she was gonna be late for work so I took over."

"Oh okay. Too bad I won't be able to enjoy this anymore."

"Why?"

"I'm moving out, I finally got my own place."

"Really, where you moving to?" Please don't let it be somewhere far I thought to myself.

"Richmond."

"Oh so you'll still be close."

He nodded his head and paused for a minute. Then he looked up at me.

"Why you was gonna miss me?"

Damn was I that obvious?

"No." I said nonchalantly even though I was lying through my teeth.

"Oh yeah?" He got up off the chair and walked over to me. I was backing away from him until I bumped into the counter. He was now in front of me looking down at me. Damn we were so close and then he brought his face closer to mine.

"I would've missed you." I could feel my face getting hot.

"Umm I know y'all not about to do some nasty shit in the kitchen with all this food out here." Toni said standing in the doorway with her arms crossed.

Terrence licked his lips and got the food and put it on the table. I'm pretty sure my face is super red right now. Toni looked at me and smiled.

"Let's eat." I said sitting down at the table. I looked over at Terrence and he winked at me. Keep it together Liyah is all I can think to myself, keep it together.
