➻ Father figure

Do you know anyone who gives the best advice? Gives you sweet kisses on the forehead? Holds you in their arms as you cry? Asks 'how are you' every time they see you? Makes sure you are okay? Jokes around with you? Allows you to laugh at their silly mistakes/accidents?

Yes?

Then you must know Kim Namjoon.

He's always been the father figure for you. He's always been the one to take care of you. He always keeps an eye on you. Making sure your safe and comfortable in certain situations. Helps you through anything and everything. Let's you cry into his shoulders on those really bad days.

Here's some of those moments:

1.

Today you were all having an interview, with an absolute asshole. He was completely degrading you on purpose. As soon as the camera turned on he wouldn't stop.

"So, Yoongi you write a lot of the songs for the group?" He asked.
"I do, Baby-ah writes a lot with me. We have writing days together, where we write all day. Namjoon joins too sometimes." Yoongi answered.

"Well, it's not like she contributes much." The interviewer laughed.

He had already been throwing indirect insults at you for the whole interview. You sat in lines of four and four. You were in the end of the line sat down in front, near to Namjoon.

"Ignore him bub." He whispered into your ear. He had been whispering this to you after every insult.

Soon enough the interview ended, nobody bothered to say goodbye to the rude man, and left to the dressing room straight away.

You sat looking into the mirror. Soon enough someone crouched best to you, spinning the chair so it was facing them. It was Namjoon.

"Come on, I know you want to cry." He lifted you up out of the seat, sitting down so you were in his lap. That's when the tears fell. You let it all out. Feeling safe and protected in his hold.

"That interview isn't going anywhere. Manager-nim, Yuna-shi and I talked to the program he worked for, they agreed not to put it on. We'll be doing another interview, with someone different."

You smiled, snuggling into his chest.

"Thanks."

You had woken up earlier then usual, which wasn't like you at all. You couldn't get back to sleep so you decided to just get up.

Walking down the hallway, you didn't expect anyone else to be awake. You reached the kitchen, pouring a bowl of cereal.

You felt strong arms wrap around you from behind. It didn't faze you though.  You knew exactly who it was.

"Good morning, Y/n-ah." He said sleepily. You smiled. "Morning, Hyung." He chuckled. "Funny." You smiled even more.

Namjoon had been in the studio most of the day. Working on lyrics and making beats. He hadn't really seen anyone of you guys today. Since he got up early and left.

Soon a knock was heard on the door. "Come in." Namjoon called. Your head popped out of the door, with a confused face.

"What's got you puzzled, bub?" He asked. You then held out your maths homework, this was back when you went to sopa. Namjoon chuckled patting his lap.

"I'll help you, Baby."
