Chayse's P.O.V.
I walk down the hall with Will on my hip, his arm resting on my waist. He gives a sharp-toothed scowl to anyone who even looks at me, his arm tightening around me. I look up at him and giggle, "You can calm down, Will. It's okay, I only have eyes for you." He smiles down at me, grinning ear-to-ear. He kisses my cheek and says, "Let's go get some punch."
Amber's P.O.V.
"Let's dance! Let's dance!" Fin says, bouncing up and down. I glare, and he asks, "What? What's wrong?" I rub my arms, mumbling, "I don't know how to dance..." Fin pauses, then takes both of my hands. For the first time he looks completely serious. "Amber, you look way too pretty tonight to be pouting. Cheer up, and I'll teach you." I sigh, rolling my eyes. Fin grins and takes my hand, pulling me out to the dance floor. He puts one hand on my hip and the other he holds mine in. He murmurs, "Good, that's right. Now just step, step, step..."
Akumu's P.O.V.
The porcelain of the sink is cold on the back of my thighs and the tile is equally chilly on my back, though I'me easily able to dismiss it. One of Abel's hands presses me against the wall, the other pulls my head closer to his so that our mouths are together even harder. He pulls me forward and I wrap my arms around his back, throwing one leg up over his hip. His fingers trail along my back, slipping softly over my shoulder blades and running over my wings. I shiver: every feather is standing on edge.
Abel murmurs between our lips, "Should we go find the others?" I look up at him beneath my long lashes. "We could," I murmur, my fingers dancing over his arms, "or we could stay here...I mean, no one uses the upstairs bathrooms anymore. We'll have it all...to...ourselves." Abel pauses, looking down at me, then grins widely and plants another kiss on my lips.
Will's P.O,V.
"Hey Wi-ill," Chayse calls, grinning. I ask, "What?" she walks up to me and kisses my cheek. Leaning up by my ear she murmurs, "Go with it...a girl over there's talking to her friends about how she could 'totally get you to, like, bang her.' I'm, shall we say, marking my territory." I glance over at the girl as she checks me out and look back down at Chayse. "Alright," I say, "let's do this."
I give Chayse a rather rough kiss, my hand on the small of her back. It drifts a bit downward and she grabs my wrist. "William, you're getting testy here," Chayse scolds, raising an eyebrow. I give a sly grin. "Hey," I say, "gotta make her see that we're together, right?" Chayse bites her lip. She sighs, giving in, "This is the only shot you're going to get here. Make it count." I grin. "Don't worry; I will," I laugh.
Finley's P.O.V.
Amber looks at me softly from where we stand off to the side. I blush and sip on my punche as she stares at me over her lemonade. "Hey Fin," Amber says. I try to stop blushing as I reply, "Hmm?" She gives me a soft grin. "Can I try something?" I shrug. Why not? I mean, what could she--
Amber grabs both of my shoulders and throws me back against the wall, giving me a hard kiss. I almost choke on the fruit punch still in my mouth. We stay there for a moment like that; her kissing me and me kissing back. Then Amber pulls away. She wipes her mouth on her arm and says, "Hm. The punch is way better than the lemonade." I blush again and lean my head down.
Abel's P.O.V.
I'm just grabbing the zipper of Akumu's dress when the bathroom door opens. She pulls away quickly and I turn to see Miss Cruse walk in. She stops in surprise. Then she says, "Both of you, outside. Now." Akumu and I scurry out of the bathroom quickly with our heads down.
Miss Cruse steps out, putting her hands on her hips. After a moment, she breaks into a grin and hugs us both. "I'm so happy that my two best students are getting together!" she says happily, releasing us. "Now go dance to your young heart's content." I extend my hand and Akumu takes it, letting out a sigh of relief. Then we go.
