I don't even know why I'm going. Not like Fin invited me...yet Akumu and Chayse get to go with their boyfriends. "Thanks, Fin," I growl. I toss my heels across the room.
My laptop beeps and I look up. A Skype call from Chayse. I answer it and say, "Yeah?" She looks at me and says, "Wow, you look great! I love the dress. I'm just waiting for Will to arrive." I glare at my dress. "You look great, too. I'd wait for Fin to show, but he never asked me to the dance. I don't think I'm going to go..." She shakes her head and exclaims, "No, no! You have to go!" I groan, "Fine. I will see you there." I slide on my heels and sit down on my bed with a huff.
I do not want to go.
