[ it's 2015 now so it's a year since amnesia has been released ]

"All the way from Australia, here's Five Seconds of Summer!" Ellen cheered and the crowd roared. Michael walked down the steps from backstage and jogged to Ellen's sofas, with Calum, Ashton, and Luke trailing behind him. Ashton almost tripped and Calum caught him. The crowd laughed at their little stunt. Ellen's sofas fit up to 3 people so Luke sat on the arm rest.

"So, how are you guys liking Los Angeles?" Ellen asked. Luke ran a hand through his hair, hoping she wouldn't ask about their previous album.

"It's very hot here." Michael commented. Calum nodded in agreement. "No kidding." He said.

"We've been here a few times with the One Direction boys, but mostly on our own." Ashton explained.

"I heard you released your self-titled debut album last summer, which was number one in over forty-five countries," Ellen said, and the crowd clapped. Luke smiled, looking down. Michael stood up and bowed, making everyone laugh. "I have a question about it, and probably a lot of people are wondering the same thing."

"Shoot." Ashton replied.

"Was there a song on the album dedicated to anyone?" She asked the guys. Luke gulped and Calum tensed, but then chuckled lightly.

"Well, we all have at least one song written for a person. I know I do, so does Cal, and Luke. I have no idea about Michael on the other hand." Ashton laughed. Michael rolled his eyes.

"I wrote Beside You, Out Of My Limit, Mrs. All American, and Good Girls. Most of these were written while we were still in school, but oh well." Calum admitted. "It was for my primary school crush." He blushed and Ashton hugged him, laughing.

"I wrote Heartbreak Girl with the help of Luke, and Social Casualty. I'm pretty punk-rock, as you can tell." Michael said, and brushed off his shoulder with a smirk on his face. Luke scoffed and coughed, "No you're not." The crowd heard and giggled. Michael flipped him off behind Calum's back, the camera not catching it.

"I wrote a few of them with the help of our friends." Ashton says, and shrugs. "I'm mainly the drummer, that's all."

"What about you, Luke?" Ellen asked. Luke gave her a faint smile and Calum gave him a worried look.

"I-I have two. Amnesia, and Everything I Didn't Say." Luke said, trying to hide his shaky voice. "Everything I Didn't say is for the same person as I wrote Amnesia for, but Amnesia is closer to her... to me." Luke choked. Calum frowned at him and comforted him.

"I shouldn't ask you this, but are you up for revealing the meaning behind your hit song, 'Amnesia'?" Ellen asked hopefully. Calum gave her a worried look and Michael bounced his knee. "Maybe backstage, but not now. Is that okay?" Ashton answered for Luke. Ellen nodded and understood.

"That's it for today guys! Here's Five Seconds Of Summer! They're back on tour this summer in North America, so find the tour dates for your city and buy tickets to see them!" Ellen announced and the crowd cheered, slightly worried for Luke. A sign next to the camera blinked 'Off-Air' and Ellen stood up and kneeled next to Luke. "Are you sure you want to do this, Luke?"

"Yeah." He sighed. "You guys deserve to know the truth."

"You don't have to if you don-t want to, L-"

"It's fine, Calum. I have to get over it sooner or later." Luke answered Calum. Calum nodded, and pursed his lips. Ellen led them backstage to her dressing room and stepped inside letting them in. "So, this is completely optional, but... Do you want it to be filmed or not? Either way is acceptional."

"I don't think that's necessa-"

"That's fine. Let them film. The fans should know, too." Luke smiled. Calum glared at him and crossed his arms. Ashton and Michael glanced at each other, worried for Luke. Ellen nodded and stepped out of the room for a moment. She then came back in the room with a man holding a small video camera. He sat by Ellen to get a good shot of Luke talking.

"Are you ready?" Ellen asked. Luke nodded.

"Positive."

"What's the real meaning behind 'Amnesia'?"
