Nine months later, the kingdom was a whole new place. People praised Simba, and now that he was a father, he had learned much from his mother and past experience. The country had stocked up and returned to wealth, the palace was packed to the brim with pets for Nala and his new daughter.

Standing on the balcony like his father before him, he and Nala smiled and waved to the crowd as Rafiki emerged from the doors, he held their baby for the couple to see and finally raised her to the crowd.

Simba leaned to the microphone as his baby was waving and squealing to the crowd. Her amber eyes tightening and staring far off into the crowd, craving their attention.

"I'm standing here today, alive and well, to proudly announce our victory and success. Let today mark a legacy, for those who died fighting for our country, and for those in exile. May they rest in peace, and may our children live in freedom. No longer will citizens be forced, miserable, or agitated. For you now all have voices, you are free to come and go, you no longer must cower and plead for your lives." He looked at Nala who was smiling in tears.

"And now, I hope that some day, my daughter after me will learn the same judgement that my father before me had taught. She too is free, and we all owe it to our soldiers who have fallen in our favor. My people, you are not slaves, and may everyone echo this for eternity, for we are the rightful government and I refuse to work you to death for my satisfaction, nor will I spill blood over disagreement. I am Simba, and I ask you to join us and end the cycle of battles."

He looked up to his daughter who stared down at him in awe and waved her hands and feet as a strong wind blew. He felt his father's hand on his shoulder, comforting and motivating. 'Well done my son..'

The End.
