Chapter 3.

It's 3 in the fudging morning. Why is someone calling me?!?

"Hello? Who is this?"

"Hi! Katelynn?"

"Yes. Who is this?"

"Sweet! So we saw your poster and I assume you already know the rest. "

"What? Who is this?"

"Sorry. I'm Jeremy McKinnon. Singer of ADTR. We picked your poster. You got some talent kid! "he says.

OH MY FUDGE DID I REALLY WIN?!? THIS IS SO AWESOME OH GOD. OH MY GOD. PLAY IT COOL.

"Oh okay. Cool. I thought I wouldn't win because I wasn't in the room when you guys announced it."

"Nah Its fine. So what about tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow what?"

"Hang with us tomorrow?"

"Oh. Yeah! Sure. No problem. I'll text you the address.-" I pause. "If this wasn't a No Caller ID call I would have. Sorry."

"Oh we will text you. Sorry. Just text us back and it'll all be okay. See you tomorrow!"

"Yeah. Bye."

I hang up. OH MY GOD OKAY I NEED TO TELL MOM RIGHT NOW. I run into my moms bedroom and I start jumping on the bed.

"MOM WAKE UP I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING NOW. COME ON!!! WAKE UP!!" I yell.

"Mom?" I say.

I look over to her dresser and there is a note by a bottle of empty pills.

'I'm sorry Katelynn. It needed to happen. Remember that I love you so much. Your the best thing that's ever happened to me. As for a place to stay. Your 19 this place is your. I love you Katelynn. Bye. Xoxo'

I read the last line and I start breaking out in tears. Why would she do this? Oh god. Okay. My phone buzzes and I look at it.

'Hey. Address? J'

'Oh hi sorry uh can we do this like in a few days I'm having some problems right now.'

'Okay. You alright? J'

'Actually No. So I want to do this another day.'

'Sure. What's wrong? J'

'Uh my mom. She is gone.'

'What happened!? J'

'She did it.'

'I'm so sorry do you need anything? You have any friends to help? J'

'No I don't have any friends...'

'Oh. Okay. Do you need us or anything? J'

'Uh. I don't know it's 3:30. I think im going to sleep. sorry'

I need sleep now. I can't believe this happened. God damn it!! I'm done. I lay down next to my mom and I cry.
